Newcastle United v Aston Villa (19/12/15 17:30 ko Sky)
David Kelly replied to Haydnator's topic in Newcastle Forum
See this is why I really hope he takes the tramps down. You get morons like Merson saying they can't see any way he can take them down because he'll just set up with ten men behind the ball just to make sure he grinds out the results. He tried that with us against the worst team this leagues ever seen and we got beat. These pundits blame us fans too for him not succeeding here. The mans a fucking charlatan and I want to see him relegated much more than those inbred fucks.. -
The second last episode went a bit weird but generally I think it's been great. I've not loved Kirsten Dunst or Jesse Plemmons in it until the last few episodes mind. Ted Danson, Patrick Wilson, Jeffrey Donovan and the indian guy have all been excellent though.

Fucking right I am Aye he's terrible, particularly in AOTC. The barin is shite in the first one too. I've always thought AOTC was much much better than TPM but after re watching them I've changed my opinion. Revenge is clearly the best of the prequels and for the most part holds up against the original three. If the new one is better than that I'll be happy. If it's better than Jedi I'll be over the moon. -
That's swayed me. I'm watching it!

Fucking hell. Imagine him wantimg to claim to be a villa fan. That's worse than them trying to claim him! -
That remark about Lee is one of the more pathetic statments that esmebee has made in his time on here. And with his record that's quite an acheivement!

I got that from an article in a brummie paper. I think it said a family member was a former chairman or something. They must have just been claiming him on that basis. Imagine trying to claim Cameron as one of your own when he's not! -
Was going to give that a go. Not worth it then?

Pak India and Dexter are two of the best for live streams at the minute. Dexter does come and go from time to time but they get excellent Sky Sports streams (particularly SS2 which is great for watching cricket). Pak India is mainly indian (surprisingly enough) or other Asian channels but Star Sport shows premier league games as well as cricket and they all have english commentary. They also seem to have got excellent BT streams in there too. I watched last weeks europa games on there in HD and they didn't buffer once. In fact all of the streams I've watched on there seem to have far less buffering than from other apps. The star sports ones aren't quite up with the best picture quality that comes through on the best Phoenix/Operation Robocop streams but they are more than good enough and much more stable.

I've found it quite slow going and watching it while I was ill probably didn't help as it seemed quite confusing. I'm about half way through now though so I'll watch it to the end.

I've got Friday off to go and see it. I can't wait. I'm watching the first six this week in preparation and after watching the first two I think that if you took out Jarjar, The Phantom menace would be comfortably the better of the two. The love story between Anakin and Padme is absolutely painful. -

Prince William, David Cameron, Nigel Kennedy and Ozzy Osborne apparently. Sums them up perfectly! -
Gillespie didn't track back any more than the players we have now. Ginola never tracked back at all. Batty was a defensive midfielder as is Colback. Lee did most of his work in the opposition third at that point before he started to drop back as he got older. Stick to your speciallist subject.

It takes something to make Phil Thompson look more intelligent than you! He even manages to take something factual like stadium size and average gate and spectacularly fuck that up too! -

You're dead right there. Winning the odd game no one gives you a chance in isn't turning a corner, becoming a team that is expected to win games and winning most of them is. This is a massive game for them so you have to expect them to be up for it (even if their own fans dont) so we need the same attitude that we've shown in the last two games or else I foresee another clusterfuck. -
We used to play with Batty, Lee, Gillespie, Ginola, Beardsley and Ferdinand as our six players ahead of the back four and we nearly won the league. Of course they were better players but that was a no more attacking line up. I can't see why you would think we would conceed so many with that line up. Mind you I can't work out why you think any of the things you do!
-
I agree in principle but when you have a team full of gutless wankers playing for you it's difficult to get people to chant their names. Songs about our rivals certainly shouldn't be our main hymn sheet though that's for sure.
-
All teams sing songs about their rivals so I don't see anything wrong with it (unless you have a particular problem with specific songs about alledged paedo's). As long as that's not your whole song repetoire (which there has been times when it seems like that with them) it's just part of football for me.

His game benefits from him putting some effort in. If he did it more often I don't think we'd be in much danger of relegation at all. Hopefully he keeps it up next week because no matter how shite Villa look, we aren't good enough to take our foot off the gas against anyone. With regards to SDJ, I think we still need to give him more time. I know he's been here a while but he's had so little game time and been injured most of the time. Being out so long, he needs time to get up to speed. Clearly he's done very little so far but he was obviously a good player before he arrived so I think he's worth giving a bit more of a chance yet.

Newcastle United v Liverpool (6/12/15 16:00 ko Sky)

Jose said it last season when we beat them, we raise our games against the better teams compared to when we play the supposedly weaker teams. Our bottling twats think they're good players and don't realise that they actually have to put in the graft to prove it. They think they can just turn up and be too good for the likes of Watford and Leicester. Until they get it into their heads that there are no easy games and you have to earn every result we'll continue to swing like we have the last two games. We can enjoy tonight but I really don't see that we've turned any corner and with the likes of sissoko and colo playing only when they feel like it , we never will. -

Arrested Development is quite good but it's not great, Certainly better than the usual BBT, Friends, Two & Half Men American shite. -
Aye that was quality. His reaction was just how I'd like to think I'd react in the same position. Not that I'm likely to be at a dinner party any time soon.

She/you don't deserve the respect of me spelling her name correctly. I've never been able to get properly into Curb which is surprising given the similarities to Seinfeld. The Larry Sanders Show is another top American sitcom. -

BBT is ok. As NJS said it's on far too much (I heard the announcer on E4 say before an episode the other week that it was the hundred and something time they'd shown it which is pathetic). It's very easy watching but in no way stands up against top sitcoms (I've been re watching Seinfeld recently which is clearly the best sitcom ever to come out of America). I've never seen the Mindie Project but she's annyoying as fuck, unattractive and Gemmil suggested it so I have no reason to try and watch it.
