Apparently Digne is definitely not happening according to that Fabrizio Romano (who I admittedly have no clue who he is). We desperately need a striker by the time we play Watford. Its probably our most important game of the season and I'd be shitting myself going into it with just Gayle.

Let's face it, Dean shouldn't have been allowed to referee last night because he's fucking awful since Poll retired he's been the one referee who wants the game to be about him more than any other. Where he's from is beside the point.

We seem to have given up trying to build a test side these days. Nothing about English cricket is about preparing for test series or preparing players to come through and succeed in the longest format. When Anderson and Broad hang it up we will only have two or three real test quality players left in the the team and one of them is usually a massive fitness doubt.

The way Willock and Hayden have been playing recently he's probably worth a shot now.

If we can't beat Norwich and Burnley at home then you do have to wonder who we will actually be able to beat. I do think relegation is a very realistic possibility but I'm not concerned about it that much. If it happens, the owners plans for the club will be delayed but that's all really. If we'd been relegated with Ashley, Penfold and Bruce still there I don't think we'd have been coming back up for a long time.

We haven't won there in 10 years, Howe's never won there at all. Got to be a win.

Hoggard the only person who seems to have got any credit at all so far. Ballance and Hales look like right cunts. Vaughan looks more than a bit arrogant for the way he's gone on since he was first implicated.

Better bowling by us would have still meant we won mind. I'm not sure Wood is our best bet in this format. I don't think he has the necessary variations to work on all pitch types. I think Curran or Willey are probably a better bet than him.

Sorry lads he said a few hours when he told me, I took that to mean later yesterday. I did give him a kicking last night and he promised he was definitely gone yesterday but could only guess what the delay was in announcing.

I'm really interested to see how this plays out now considering this. If it is true and the press don't have a sniff of it, then it's interesting that we can keep something quiet.
