It is indeed, I loved it, the lesbos weren't bad either. Also a big fan of KKBB. 180533 I'll have to check it out. I'll add it to my other lesbo wish list along with Mullholand Drive. -

I cannot imagine anyone taking BB that seriously. I'll bet you're bitter because you voted her out and she's back. 180519 I don't take it seriously at all but when you're forced to watch something you can't stand to begin with having to see her as well just tips me over the edge. -

Aye, I was a bit baffled by Renton's comments there, but thought that was heading more for the serious conversation than the Friday afternoon piss-take. What did you reckon to Bound? 180522 Is that the Warchowski one with the lesbos? Haven't seen it, is it any good? The best modern noir I've seen in a long while is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang even if it does cross over into buddy movie territory. -

I'm in agreement with the Bum on this one. I have really disliked being forced to watch bits of BB by wor lass when she wasn't in but I cannot watch her at all. She is the most annoying human being (worse than Eamon Holmes!) I have ever seen on the telly. Someone should just kick her in the cunt and tell her to fuck off. -

I think it's the fact that I love Film Noir so much that spoiled it for me. I was expecting something like The Big Sleep or Maltese Falcon both of which it didn't bare in real comparisson to for me. Plus I did watch it on a pirate dvd so that probably lessened the visual impact somewhat. I'll have to give it another go. Oh and Paycheck was ok but not one of the better Phillip K Dick translations. Thurman was a complete waste in it. Any amount of unknown actresses could have played that poor excuse for a role. -
That is probably the first bit of complete bollocks he's spouted since his appointment. It's also very worrying in that it's a change of tune and suggests to me that he may be being stopped from spending by the fat man.

That is a fucking atrocious film and I usually love Johnny Depp. 180436 I enjoyed it It's no Sin City like. 180437 Rarely have I ever sat through such shite, it made no sense at all to me. I wasn't that fond of Sin City either tbh. It was canny but not all it was made out to be. -

That is a fucking atrocious film and I usually love Johnny Depp. Once Upon A Time In The West is a classic. Payback is canny but Mel Gibson really is no Lee Marvin! -

Which Manchurian candidate? I've only seen the Frank Sinatra one and was considering the remake. Meryl Streep is generally worth watching. 180423 I prefer the Sinatra one but remake is canny. Sinatra, Janet Leigh, Angela Lansbry (that spellings probably miles off) and the other bloke who's name escape me are all better than Washington, Streep & what's his name. There is no real comparisson to the Janet Leigh character. I think if you combined the two you would have one hell of a film though. -

I have to admit all I have seen is the wafa game and a bit of the friendly against the Spaniards so I don't know all of the facts. But he was the best player by a mile for me in wafa game. He was our most creative player by a mile and backed that up with a lot of donkey work too. The thing that might let him down is the lack of movement up front giving him very few options to make passes to.
-
One of the best players I have ever seen here tbh.
-
Emre has been one of our best players pre season though Shirls.
-
Let's wait until after the game before passing judgement. 180375 I don't think you've quite grasped this internet discussion malarky yet... 180378 Too sensible, you think? 180384 What's your opinion on just playing one upfront at home to Wigan then, when we could conceivably play two, despite our striker shortage? Genuine question. 180392 couldn't milner play a supporting role feeding on knock downs from shola? or is that a little naive? 180401 Milner didn't work well there in the intertwobob by all accounts. Mind you that was paired with Luque and not Shola.
-
You don't need to wait to see the game to know that a 4-5-1 with Butt, Parker and Emre as the middle three of the five, isn't going to provide us with an exciting attacking game. We might win the game but it will be a case of grinding out a result if we do and that shouldn't be the position we're in going into the start of a new season at home to a team like Wigan.
-
The best think I have read in a long long time. I shall be using that in conversation as quickly as possible.
-
He's quite happy to make up any old bollocks just to see his name in print tbh.
-
I agree. I'd go for Duff with the Zog on the left. 180236 I'm hoping for but not expecting that. I fear we are more likely to go with the team that won in Latvia (except Carr if he's injured).
-
Any one who preditcts 6th with our current squad is out of their minds tbh. You don't get that high without goals or an excellent defence!
-
Wan't really a striker really though. And of course he just wasn't very good!
-
I don't think there's many of us who can comment on whether this would be a good move or not given that we haven't go a clue what he's like. I would say though that I've always thought that your better off going for players from eastern Europe as oppose to ones from a warmer climate as they will find it a bit easier to cope with being in this country. Although as there aren't many players who have came here from there I don't really have anything to back that up.

You can lead a Roeder to scout a striker but you can't make him buy a one!
-
Fair do's. I agree with that. 179947 Agree with what, another person who no association with the club speculation? Fuck we are gullible. It's almost as if we are trying the CM policy of don't play him and then that club that is scouting him won't bother because he's obviously not good enough for their starting 11. FACT! Newcastle United have no transfer policy. FACT! FACT! (Sorry leaze) The man in charge thinks he can run the club like his scrap yard and that he is doing others a favour for "taking it off your hands." FACT! FACT! The club doesn't learn from experience. FACT! FACT! In the last 25 years when we get a half decent, young creative midfielder with a future ahead of them, we let them go to another club instead of fighting tooth and nail to keep them and exploit their talents for our club! FACT! FACT! We are a selling club and for all the wrong reasons and never to the benefit of Newcastle's future. FACT! 179953 I agree with the statement that sometimes there are oppertunities to sign players that are just too good to miss and Duff would be one of those oppertunities. I don't disagree that we have no transfer policy or that the fat man has no idea of how to make the club successful.
-
Fair do's. I agree with that. 179947 I do to an extent but not when your absolutely desperate for a striker.
-
I've already done that conspiracy today as it happens. Not as implausible as it sounds. I was talking to my Dad about it last night. His opinion is that, basically, Roeder isn't being given a chance. The next fortnight will hopefully prove us wrong. 179930 Tbh I've thought this was the plan all along. This is probably why Roeder was the only manger we could get. No top manager would be interested in working under the conditions that Roeder has.
