I was talking about the three Alex mentioned tbh as I don't think I've seen City Hall. I really like the Devils Advocate though. I wouldn't say he was lazy in the likes of Donnie Brasco or Insomnia but I do get what you mean and I agree the likes of Godfather, Dog Day Afternoon et al are far superior just as Taxi Driver and Mean Streets piss on all modern De Niro. -

Yes you are talking shite! Insomnia The Insider The Devil's Advocate Donnie Brasco City Hall Heat Carlito's Way Scent of a Woman -
I think Lynch did all of the first series but was only an executive producer or something for the rest. The first series is superb and it's outstaning upto the point that you find out it's her dad that did it in the second but it does get a bit too wierd after that. I personally still think it's bloody good and have been waiting a fucking age for the second series to be released on dvd.

I Robot is the best thing that Will Smith's done for my money. I went so far as to buy the dvd after seeing it at the pictures. As other have said it's a popcorn flick but a good one. Glengarry Glen Ross is an amazing film. Lemmon, Pacino, Baldwin & Harris are all superb in the big speach roles and Alan Arkin is just fantastic in quieter part. -
Hopefully this means a striker early in the next 7-10 and then the other two later. Although I fully expect it to be Graveson first then maybe Bridge with the striker coming after we've lost to Wigan!

It takes forever to convert them for DVD. I took to just watching them on my computer in the end. 175178 I only have PC access at work so that's not really practical for me

I think, generally speaking, Taylor makes better decisions than Bramble too (especially given the age difference). One thing I would say is that they are quite similar and they both suit a sweeper type player like Moore alongside them. They don't play together particularly well. 175181 Agreed.

Our midfield need someone up front stretching opposition defences and as we saw last night Shola clearly cannot do that (for all that he was ok). If we can bring in some good forwards to do that I think you will see a hell of a lot more from Emre, Parker, Nobby and Duff. At the minute there just isn't any space for them.

The mistakes that Tayor has made are just the normal sort of mistakes that any player makes. Bramble has made monumental cock ups which stand out to everyone. The one big worry is that we don't have a quality senior centreback to help bring Taylor on. If we'd signed Southgate years ago to play with Bramble you might have seen a very different player by now. All of which makes not going for Campbell all the more stupid.

When you download on torrent do you have to do something to convert the files to put them onto dvd? I've only ever used them for music before.

bump 175133 Brilliant, the best British comedy for years. I think of it as cross between Python, Friends & Scrubbs.

I know you gentlemen have been through a lot, but when you find the time, I'd rather not spend the rest of this winter TIED TO THIS FUCKING COUCH
-
An old one but it was on at obscure times so some might not know it, The Larry Sanders Show. Rip Torn is superb.
-
You'r taking the piss right?
-
Wor lass calls it the same thing. New series just started on Hallmark btw. Tbh it's the only one of the law and orders I can regularly watch. They're all canny but I get a bit bored of the rest.

Re Cold Case, it's alright for the odd episode, but I got bored about two thirds into the first series. It started off as a really good idea and now and again the stories are good, but it's let down by weak plots in most of the episodes - they rely too much on the cutting backwards and forwards between then (when the crime was committed) and now (when they're trying to solve it), and not enough on a decent story. Good use of old music/fashions though in the flashback scenes. Without a Trace is good, but I always forget it's on. Anthony La Paglia is nails. 175108 Cold Case did a good episode in the second series which was was based arround the Rock Horror and had the same sort of acting and the bloke off the Rocky Horror was in it (him who plays the Mayor in Spin City). It was really good.

Cold Case is canny. I thought that it would get repetative with them investigating old cases all the time but they manage to keep it quite fresh. If you like those sort of detective things then Bones (with him out of Angel), Law & Order - Criminal Intent (with the excellent Vincent D'Nofrio) and Criminal Minds (with him out of The Princess Bride) are all worth a watch. Without A Trace is good too. Babylon 5 is perhaps the best series ever though if you like sci fi!

It's an HBO prison drama. I think "graphic" would be the best word to describe it. They don't hold back with anything. Really good storylines as well though. It's class, you won't be disappointed. Torrents for download. 175098 Cheers, I might check it out.
