Juventus have snapped up teenage winger Falque Silva Yago from Barcelona on a four-year contract. Yago came through the ranks at Barcelona, but has opted to take up a challenge with Claudio Ranieri's Juventus. Exams and qualifications today are nothing like the difficulty and standard of what they were 12 years ago when I was still at school. It's been confirmed by the club. I'd like to think they're too busy finishing off other deals to even think of updating the website yet. Id hope the people in charge of the website are the ones responsible for signing players! OUR club havnt confirmed it but id imagine we are waiting for his registration.

Why is it mate? Im affraid you like alot of others have far to high of an expectation! We are mid table bordering on top 8 quality make no mistake. Yes we all want to see those halcyon days return, but this season is about consolidation and gradual progress. That squad is progress onlast years squad IMO And i have faith it will get stronger as the season goes by, and hopefully in january we will have a much clearer picture on what needs to be done. In all competions, 3 of the players that have gone made 10 or less appaearances Ramage (0), Emre (8), Carr (10). None of the other 3 managed more games than Michael always injured Owen. Rozenhal (18), Faye (22), Milner (28) If 2 of the new signings are first team regulars then we're better equipped. if 5 of them are then we're miles ahead of where we were this time last year. I like your logic mate...and if we can get a couple more in we will be well set for the season imo.

As it stands we've brought in Gutierrez, Guthrie, Bassong, Gonzalez and the impending move of Xisco. What is everyone hoping or expecting to happen further? Personally id like to see another creative midfielder, a defensive midfielder and a left back...is that asking to much or is that us done until january? realistically? I think Smith mite go late tonight, but i dont think strola will...if either or both go id hope we'd be bringin in replacements. Seen a lot of these players then, have you? Seen Xisco a few times, looks strong and skillfull for a big lad...not seen anything but youtube vids for nacho and im a wee bit hesitant about it, i know on loan is a good idea but im just saying id rather have skjelbred in. Really talented youngster. Natural replacement for milner too.

Xisco could be a decent signing like, not sure about nacho though. Would of much prefered to get skjelbred in...young, promising and 6mil ha'way man! Owens going no-where!

About 1 in 4 games is a pretty impressive record for a midfielder tbh...if it could get even close to that in the PL than that would be a MASSIVE bonus for us!
