Well if we were to replace CH then MJ would certainly be my 1st choice. Not going to happen though.

Two positions in which we were crying out for quality additions, granted he didn't spend massively on either player but they weren't worth a quarter of what he paid for them. I agree and i think its somewhere that we HAVE to invest in come january contrary to the "no new faces in january" statement. Thing is, can you name anyone of sufficient quality who could be available? Who would actually make a difference?

I dont think Carroll is a lost cause, nor do i think he is shite...i do however think that he has went off the rails, but not too far gone. He is young and clearly mustn't have close ones around to keep him grounded. IF he is found to of lamped this bird then yeah he can fuck off...no-body can condone that kinda behaviour. As for Taylor, he is another with a bit of a wild boy attitude, bigger than he is, and again another with good potential. In an ideal world we could get these two to settle down, concentrate on their football and use them as the geordie spine to the team. Unfortunatly i dont think Chris Hughton has the balls or the man management in him to do this, thus meaning we could and probably will lose one if not both.

What has Willo done? I think he has been good for us so far this season. Carroll is an idiot but our best striker and he's still young and naive, he'll come through this. That said, if he is found to of twatted his ex then i would agree with most and get shot. Sad being a geordie n'all.

To sack another manager is absolutely clueless and i dont think that would happen...well not until at least January anyway. Personally, although i dont think CH was the man for us in the beginning he has and is doing as well as he can do with what he's got and little to spend. Apart from Perch and Best his dealings have been good, imparticular Tiote and Barfa. Gosling could turn out a decent signing too. I agree that the papers are just trying to pile pressure on us and stur shit. That said, CH HAS to change his approach and sharp.

For me, i would put Simpson straight into the team against West Ham if fit, if not then it has to be Raylor. Drop Perch to the reserves and leave him there til January when i'd loan him out. Encourage Enrique and Jonas to re-discover that form and great understanding of last season. Also work on a good understanding with Routledge and Simpson. I personally think we need to be concentrating on our wide play and regularity of which the ball gets sent down our flanks, ultimately getting good balls into the box for our strikers. Id start Carroll and Lovenkrands at home and AC and Strola/Nolan away. THIS is the worry. Need to sneak a win, however it comes. This is worryingly true and im sure the lads are well aware of it and fully prepared for a win. I dont get why some still get upset with these 'statements'. The "no capital outlay" statement has to go to show that what they are doin is in fact keep expectations low and to stop other clubs ripping us if and when we do approach them about a player. Personally i feel we will add to the squad, probably a striker and a winger on loan and possibly making the Barfa deal permanent. Either way, if we do, or we dont, im not arsed as long as we stay up. Ameobe may have done alright in the first half but he faded badly in the second. Stroller is not the kind of player you want up-front on his own with Nolan as support. Our lads can take alot of heart from todays performance. Never really outclassed, infact in parts we were the better team. It is true though we still didnt create enough. Stand out performance's was from Tiote (My MOM) and Barton. Nice break for our lads to get ready to batter Wigan at home. As a side note, Hughton has to make a complaint to the FA about the decisions today and this season tbf. 2 shocking calls cost us what would of been a well deserved 3 points. Thats football though ay?
