The last one who did will be all over your papers in early July....that's the only information you're getting.

Neil Lennon is a disgrace to his football club. I've listened to a lot of Celtic fans down the years moaning about the treatment he receives purely being down to the fact that he's a catholic playing for Celtic who also played for Northern Ireland, and it's purely sectarian. If that's the case how does Paddy McCourt get treat well at Windsor Park? I think 80% of it is the fact he's a little cunt, to be fair it was never ever a penalty, but the final whistle goes and he races 60 yards to call the referee a cheating cunt two yards from his face. I don't think I've ever seen the worst loser of the lot SAF do that. It's nee wonder people hate him.

Don't be tempted to go to Lau's, it looks nice from the outside, but the staff are rude and the food while being cheap is shite. Was only in two weeks ago for the first time, and was very disappointed.

Some of the very best toon fans I've ever met are OOTs. I'm not OOTist, but I think in the same way foreigners need to fulfil certain conditions to become British citizens, OOTs should have similar criteria before I accept them. For instance if I didn't get a Cup Final ticket but Lake Bells Tits did on his first trip to England I'd be fucking livid.

What's the point in the article? The lad's only just started getting a run in our team after a horrific injury and already we've seen several aspects of world class play, not just the goals against Bolton and Blackburn but some of the finishes cutting in from the right have been fantastic too, as well as his accuracy in passing, but more than anything else, the way the ball is stuck to his feet when he dribbles. Just let him carry on and then we'll start casting aspersions half way through next season I could never be accused of being OOTist, but it's very easy to see why many people are. I guestimate that 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 toon fans on twitter and in life are from the North East, which means a majority aren't. These are the ones who talk the most shite. That's not to say people from the North East don't talk shite too. Some of our very best fans are OOT. This though is the classic example of a student from down South, who started supporting the toon when we were good, embarking on some journalism career, absolutely excruciatingly, painfully striving for an alternative view. It's fucking pathetic. Even ex students would admit this is the classic hallmark of a student. He's just scored one of THE best goals the stadium has ever seen, not long after two injuries which would've ended some players careers and he has to write something negative. What an arsehole. He's blocked me on twitter. Good.

National the morra. Nothing stands out form wise, the one I was told to back pulled out two weeks ago, so I've went for the third favourite for no other reason than it's form dictates it's got a chance and I love the name. West End Rocker 10/1 no regrets.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/12/hillsborough-battle-orgreave Great piece about South Yorkshire police and their history of being the worst institution in Britain going back to miners strike. I'm not saying all Yorkshire people are wanks, only most of them are, but I've witnessed that police force first hand at Brammal Lane, and they are the worst cunts I've ever come across in my life.

A completely shite 1-0 will be fantastic for me, then a quick fight through the crowds to watch QPR v Tottenham at 530 in the Percy. Could be the best Saturday since we came 2nd and the mackems and Boro went down. Well that was a Sunday but ye naa what a mean. 4 3 3 again, as long as Simpson and your man Santon do nothing but stop Etherington and Pennant getting balls in we should be alright. I think FIFA should bring a law in saying you can't score from throw ins, not one person on earth wants to see a goal scored from a throw in.

Well you can forget about the Dutch league stats for starters just look at Kezman. Suarez has some international pedigree which makes him an even bigger flop imo. He would've been expected to deliver 20 goals this season. He's a flop, no one mentioned Carroll. Just accept it, put Phil Collins on, on the metro home, and pipe down a bit.

Gareth Southgate got his place at euro 96 after he got injured and never looked back. Howey was never the same after that, it ruined him at the top level. I'm not going to say you're wrong about Howey v manu but I was there and I only remember Anth Lormor making his debut from the bench as a strker. Anth Lormor or Tony as he was later known as, scored against West Ham with a first minute overhead kick the night we were officially relegated, which was a few weeks prior to the Man Utd game. I only remember it because I was 10 feet away from it in the Leazes, so the Man Utd game couldn't have been his debut. 99% sure it was Howey's though.

I'm pretty sure in the book he mentions a game between Cambridge and Newcastle in our promotion season he attended, memories a bit sketchy but I'm sure he said our fans were gods, so he's not all bad.

Newcastle United V Bolton Wanderers Easter Monday Kick Off 3pm
McFaul replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Agreed. Flog him for £3-4 million, find a replacement with that cash or give Abeid/Vuckic/Gosling more game time. Me mate watches the Reserves and 18s all the time, he reckons Abeid and Campbell will become Premiership stars within 3/4 years. -
Talented footballers often change positions at an early age though. Look at Steve Howey. Striker, wasn't he? Abyway, regarding Bale, he was the Football League Young player of they year, with a beast of a free kick on him. He was playing first team and International football at 16. Aye. To be fair I used the word talented, he was a fucking shit striker. He made his debut as a bairn the day we were relegated at Man Utd, and it didn't get any better for him. The crowd used to get on to him because being shit and a mackem was unacceptable. His first game I saw him at centre half was at Derby away in 1992, he was fucking excellent, everyone was scratching their head at Keegan, but that was one of his master strokes, because people can say what they like, Howey was a very good centre half for Newcastle.

Yes, that's it.

Think you must've forgotten the bit at the start then when it says he went to the local grammar school in Reading. Hardly down the road at Eton. But neither was it Byker tbh.He did well and got into Cambridge at a time when they wanted bright kids from other backgrounds other than the public schools. The book is a good read iyam. It explains why those who say "never mind its only a game" will never, ever understand. And why Gus Ceaser got to the Arsenal first team, and why he was crap too. Well he should support Reading for starters that was my first bone of contention. Secondly he didn't strike me as the type of bloke who would admit he's followed through or show any signs of true blokieness, which I think goes hand in hand with football support, or it used to before Sky. I've read the book, but the film in particular, is a good depiction of an Arsenal fan. Posh cunts in teachers scarves reading The Observer, and when Michael Thomas scores that moment, the one moment, I don't know how it could ever get any better than that. I think I'd die on the spot of a heart attack, and these cunts, they score THAT goal and it's as if they've just made it 4-0 in the League Cup Second Round against Grimsby, which is why I felt it was such a good representation of Arsenal FC.

Yakubu's had almost a decade in this league to learn the ropes. Back in 06/07 Yakubu averaged a paltry goal every 264 minutes himself. Suarez has has been hitting one every 274 in his first full year. He's clearly no Cisse or Ba sort in terms of business or hitting the ground running, but he's been Liverpool's only hope. So what he scored goals as soon as he got here. So the worst stat you can find for Yakubu is he scored more than 1 goal in 3 full games in 06/07 whereas £25m Suarez can't. Yakubu was a punt based on a Champions League hatrick for some jew team against Man Utd Reserves. He's been a flop, that's fact. If Cristiano Ronaldo went to Real Madrid and scored 15 in 38 games would he be a flop? Yes. Would Yakubu have been a flop with that ratio? No.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGxmIEVWafU Injury time goal too in the 1st leg at Anfield making it 1-1. As Chelsea won the second leg 3-2 (going through 4-3 on aggregate) it meant that had he not scored it, Liverpool would have gone to the final on away goals! Funniest bit though is....... Sorry to be a pedant, but they'd have went through 1-2 on agg because it went to extra time.

Suarez is their main goalscorer and he doesn't fucking score. £25m for a bloke who turns and flicks but doesn't score, well he does but it's more or less 1 in 4, borderline flop in my view. He's not banged them away like a prolific twat, but you have to look at the team. He's got more goals than any other Liverpool player and the second most assists. So fuck. Yakubu's got more than him and Carroll put together. In fact Yakubu's scored double his amount in four less games playing for a totally shite team.
