  1. Seems like shearer is coming in
  2. Ive been told that Geromel is a top class player with bags of potential at 23. Hes typical of a brazilian centre half and could be close to lucio. Hes regarded as one of the best defenders in the portuguese league and is the main reasonn guim.... or whatever are 4th so yes please
  3. Just when u think things can't get anymore laughable
  4. Better than what weve got, martins poor of late, viduka is completely different and owen hasn't looked sharpish and may not return to his best if anywhere near that. Defoe is a decent goalscorer so id have him here anyday.
  5. Has talent, and good in two positions. Also pretty good on the ball so would like him
  6. hes a liabilty, always prone to diving on the floor alot and spends most time playing on the floor when in cm. Untried up top tbf, a couple of games isnt enough in his favoured position.
  7. Just ive had a look at our next 8 games ( said 7 initially i know) and by the looks of it we will be lucky to get 6 points. We have to play the "big four" to the exception of chelsea which amounts to 4 games. I can't see us getting any points from those games. We also have villa away which i think is another defeat. Then we have 3 homes fixtures against teams around us that we should win but i can see us getting 6 points from them 3. So 6 points leaves us on 32 points after 29 games. The teams fighting relagation atm are playing teams around them and will probably gather around 10 points from there next 8 games which could leave us 4-5 points off the relegation zone. We will really miss faye and beye as well. I know its all speculative but i am worried we could really get dragged into it.
  8. is there any evidence that keeping the manager will be a sucess. Is there any evidence he will keep us in the league. Its all a matter of opinion hence the reason for the site. Im just saying in 7 games time i think you might be calling for his head just like many others.
  9. How many clubs would put up with performances as continually as shite as ours ? How many of those clubs or how clubs in total? also given that 10 of those years were under Keegan and Robson where we played football that many many teams would be jealous of. Other the KK and SBR we've had another 5 managers (not including caretakers), 7 in 15 years... that's fucking ridiculous when two held the position for ten years between them. 5 in 5 years... OK lets stick with a inept manager just to make you feel better about how many managers we've had. Jimbo man, for the love of God I'm not happy that we're 11th, IU'm not happy that we've been poor. But surely this proves that changing the manager isn't conducive to better performances. We've have mangers who've shown promise or who have experience, and they've all fallen foul of excessive expectations given the situation we're in. But, ok, lets chop and change managers at your whim, just to make you feel better about this club no longer being a title challenger. Put it this was, in 7 games we will b very close to the relegation zone and many will be calling for his head, watch this space lol 2 points off relegation after 28 games in the season will be majorly dissapointing in my eyes.
  10. at least spurs are going out aswell ey!!!
  11. All tiresome 90 minutes. All we really disagree on is Enrique's performance, which I really think was lacking. His defending wasn't too bad but his passing looked hopeless and he never really looked involved, I thought. I do agree about LuaLua...is that his first appearance for the senior team? I can't remember. He looked lively to say the least. I think enrique fizzed it round nicely tbh
  12. beye is the better signing imo and plus sam didn't know exactly what he was getting from beye but already new faye. Both great signings
  13. If you could upload that mate i'd be chuffed merci beacoup! that im french but thanks lol
  14. Today, two players stood out for me, Smith and Rozenhal. They are both bollocks and shouldn't either be playing in the positions they were today, or not playing at all. Smith is a liability, gave away many free kicks in dangerous positions and slid stupidly when they were on the counter with us outnumbered. And rozenhal, well he was just absolutely fuckin shite and useless. Good points however is duff is improving, taylor put in a decent performance and jose enriqe played well and fizzed the ball round nicely.
  15. If you could upload that mate i'd be chuffed
  16. I second that, he made me love football even more. Would love to see him play again in a charity game or somin
  17. I think we should just worry about stoke first. By thinking too far ahead of what teams are left for us to possibly face is just false optimism really.
  18. Jose isn't a fan of international management. He's on record as saying he thinks it's for old men. At the moment he would want the day to day intensity of club management so he was never going to take the England job. And he's not taking the newcastle job either!! But no one claimed he was. All I said was that IF he's still available at the end of the season (and that's a big if) I could quite well see Ashley making a big move to get him, assuming he has ambitions for the club we are led to believe. I haven't claimed anyone said he was either, just merely stating that we have little chance if any of getting mourinho.

  20. Sam Allardyce is confident he can turn around Newcastle's fortunes if he is given enough time. The Magpies' inconsistency this season has put pressure on Allardyce and speculation suggests club bosses are running out of patience. However, Allardyce believes it is unfair for people to expect him to deliver results immediately and wants to be given at least three years in the job. And he insists he will not even contemplate resigning if Newcastle lose to Stoke in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday. "No. Why should I?" Allardyce told the News of the World. Big job "It is 53 years since they won anything domestically here, so it is a big job to turn this club around. "I said it would take me three to five years - and I have only been here eight months." Stoke have been in fine form in the Championship in recent weeks and they have been tipped to knock Newcastle out of the cup, but Allardyce feels his side will progress. He explained: "The whole world thinks we are going to get beaten so we have to go there and use that as a motivational tool. "We have to accept that pressure but it's in our hands. We can only relieve the pressure by winning."
  21. 2-1 to newcastle, stoke to go ahead with fuller froma set piece. HT - Stoke, FT - Newcastle 25-1?
  22. Carrick's very out of favor at Man U if the reports are to be believed, Hargreaves/Anderson keeping him out of the first team from what I've heard as well as Scholes returning from injury at some point. We might have an outside chance there. I'd certainly have him. Hell no not for that price, everyone jumps on the bandwagon when carricks sale of 19m was touted. Thats very expensive , i would say hes worth around 7m
