In 2002 when he signed for Rangers? He struggled to cope with the physical side of the game in the SPL though it obviously toughened him up as he has been a totally different player for Everton. I saw him play in the Champions League and the lad looked quality. It may have been against ManUtd. He was taking the ball from the defenders, like Batty or a holding player, but turning and instead of hitting a 5 yard pass, was looking for a more attacking ball/run to be made. I never saw him play much for Rangers, when I did, I though he was excellent. I thought he had left Rangers to go back to the Spanish League, like you say, as it was too physical. I had reservations when Moyes took him, thinking he couldn't cope, but he's looked top class for them and has made them a far better side. All good lol but we arent goin to get him.

but in fairness he's so much better than carr at defending and attacking lol
-
Add ameobi to that list lol. Heskey is bollocks

agreed, although both goals where his fault like That's Titus. Just pleased it isn't our Titus any more. You knows it, I was having a proper laugh about it to be honest, it felt so could to see Titus in a shirt that wasnt the toon I would piss myself if he started performing class and got into the england set-up

Brambles tackle on arteta was class. A shame he was shit the rest of the game

So is all of man city's team this season Elano, Bojinov etc We all know what Sven's been doing on his time off. Shagging would be my guess. The Mekon can't keep it in his pants. stunnung -
I remember gartside saying sammy lee was the instigator of all the signings and the top players only signed because of him. Haha bullshit.

Allardyce: foreigners better value for money

Im impressed, what a smart and articulate man. Great read thanks -
Was a very good first touch from Anelka for his goal tbf. Sure, but a fullback with actual pace, with genuine quality and the slightest hint of exuberance would have been able to at least force Anelka wider, perhaps even put a block in. As it is, Carr huffed along behind the Bolton forward like an arthritic spaniel loping hopefully after a younger pup Carr was shit, a smarter player would have stepped up to make anelka offside and as for pace, Carr contains none of the sort.

We had one like that at our school but she had learning difficulties so it was difficult to laugh lol. And i'm only 17 so everyone knows who ronaldinho is, always imagined putting a picture next to her face and saying 'i can see the resemblence'. The head would have been right on my back tho

Just caught that at a glimpse and thought "why's alan oliver writing for the times?" Haha fair play. Well noticed i must admit
-
I can understand your point of view but his problems and background should not count as a valid reason for beating the living shit out of dabo and putting a cigarette in a teenagers eye at city lol.

i would be gutted to see solano leave. Top player, top professional and for his great attitude and commitment to newcastle he deserves to leave should he wish. However, i doubt his apparent reasons for wanting to leave. Really hope the story's a load of bullshite.

Totally agree. English and proud, no wonder people say we have an island mentality. No one likes us we don't care. The thing that pisses me off is the double standards involved. Anyone can get away with saying that about England in football, but if one of our officials said anything it would be world news. For the size of England compared to Mexico and USA we've achieved more than we could've hoped. I'd love to see the WC here, but I wouldn't be against a Celtic WC, with a co-bid from Wales, Scotland and Ireland. They could do it as well. Croke Park 88,000, Hampden and Ibrox 51,000, Murrayfield 68,000, Cardiff 74,000, Aberdeen up to 35,000, and maybe Windsor Park up to 40,000 - it could be done. If it's not going to be us who get it, it should be country/countries who have never held it before, and have the ability to do so. I like your idea as well, either one would be decent as it would be pretty cheap to watch and the atmosphere would still be great on an england level if it were to be held by the 'celtic' group of countries.

What a complete cunt, thats well pissed me off, would love to kick the shit out of this absolute wanker. The fuckin nerv of the twat, who does he think he is to criticise a country with the best league in the world, best teams in the world, best stadiums in europe and best supporters without a doubt. Hes a cunt tbh

Valid point, but in a court of law prejudgment and assumptions made of an individual because of the clothes they wear will not happen. What world are you living in? Anyway, it's taking the piss turning up to court like that imo. Especially someone with his money Yeah i know lol i was taking the piss with that comment, but is he trying to deny the assualt completely or what?
-
Could this be BS's first mistake lol other than not selling the twat.
-
is he trying to deny that he kicked the shit out of dabo? If so, who the fuck did it lol

Since Anal Oliver and the chronicle have more than once said it was 4.2m i am going to stick my neck out and say it is definitely 6.3m without question! Haha, yeah i think it's that price but all of a sudden skysports claim 4.2million instead of their initial claim of 6.3m.
-
would fuckin love diop!!!!!

What was the price of the lad 4.2m or 6.3m?
-
Alan Rough? unlike american and pie

but he doesn't say smith will be used there. So he could mean 5 strikers inlcuding luque and the four others mentioned above and class smith as a midfielder which is where i believe he will be used most. come to think of it maybe he classe luque as a left winger
