Surely can't drop Taylor after his best performance in a very long time?
-
Skysports and bbc both added yesterday's results to the table twice
-
Aubameyang scored a vital penalty in his teams shoot out win against Lille in the cup. Celebrated like they'd won the trophy, mad scenes.
-
Reading that, erdinc plays for Rennes now anyway not PSG. You're right though, tough to stomach.
-
No brainer for Remy really. 80k a week to play premiership football for 5 months and if the shit hits the fan he's off in the summer. Expect hefty sign on fees for both. If QPR stay up he's got premiership footy next year. What a cunt though
-
I think Marseille were losing two nothing at home to somone (maybe Fenerbache), Barton was replaced by Remy and the game ended 2 a piece! Pointless information I guess....!
-
Marseille were in the europa league this season anyway and Remy has already played and scored in the competition I believe
-
Not sure what the dynamics of the carrow road pitch are but everything seems so tight and compact. Gary Birtles is a cock
-
Excellent defending by perch, busting a gut to get there
-
Which he was, ball down the line I'm the first 2mins, kicks it out due to pure indecision on what way to kick it. No one up top and a player runs at him so he lofts it into no mans land with debuchy and colo available.
-
He'll need a few games to get used to things but you're correct on obertan. He doesn't know how to defend though does he
-
Because he's made one simple interception and had a couple of decent touches with no one within 20yards of him? Hes completely inadequate for this division.
-
Fuckind sickening to see Williamson play. Long ball every chance and shitting himself under pressure.
-
Well that spells nothing but bad news. Absolutely ludicrous that he can't play tomorrow unless it is extremely serious.
-
Quite interesting there's absolutely no mention (on the official site) of captain colo in regards to the squads tomorrow. Make what you want of it....... TEAM NEWS Norwich - Captain Grant Holt (hamstring) and former Leeds man Jonny Howson are both contention for returns to the Canaries line-up, but they are likely to be without striker Steve Morison (thigh), goalkeeper John Ruddy (thigh), midfielder Andrew Surman (knee) and defender Steven Whittaker (hip). Newcastle - Shola Ameobi serves a one-game ban following his sending-off at Brighton last weekend, while Cheick Tiote is away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with Ivory Coast. United are boosted by the return of striker Papiss Cisse (thigh) and midfielders Yohan Cabaye (groin) and Jonas Gutierrez (knee), with new signing Mathieu Debuchy set to make his Magpies debut at right-back. There is still a doubt over utility man James Perch (knee), and United will definitely be without Steven Taylor (hamstring), Hatem Ben Arfa (hamstring), Dan Gosling (ankle), Ryan Taylor (knee) and Haris Vuckic (knee).

Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye will be in the squad for Saturday's match at Norwich and may make his return from injury off the bench. Alan Pardew's side have been beset by injuries in recent weeks but the outlook is improving significantly and the manager says several other key men will also be back at the weekend. Cabaye has been on the sidelines since November after having groin surgery but he has returned to full training this week and could play some part at Carrow Road. "The good news is we are taking Cabaye on the bus, which is like signing a new player," said Pardew. "I don't think he's really ready to start, if I'm honest. I think his role will be off the bench, if the situation evolves where we need him. "Yohan is a great player and has lifted everybody this week, just in terms of picking passes out in training. Transfer Odds Will Yohan Cabaye still be a Newcastle player by the end of the month? Find out who Sky Bet make the favourites for the midfielder's signature here. "It's just nice to have some senior players out there working hard and just his inclusion is going to give everyone a huge lift." The Magpies were short of numbers for Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup loss at Brighton but forward Papiss Cisse, defender Fabricio Colocciniand winger Jonas Gutierrez are now back in contention, as well as Cabaye. "Papiss and Colo are both fit as well, so they will be in and around the team, and we certainly look a lot stronger than the unfortunate situation we were in last week," said Pardew. "Steven Taylor will be ready for Reading (on 19 January) and Cabaye will certainly be ready for Reading. Jonas is fit and he will be available for Norwich, so we are getting some senior bodies back at a crucial time." Like signing a new player he states? Lets be honest, we all saw it coming.

I for one am absolutely fucking disgusted watching this shit. Williamson is dire, sammy ameobi inventive but effectively useless, obertan pacey but lacks ANY footballing brain, shola the most immobile striker known to football, makes easy touches look difficult and tough ones easy. A fucking disgraceful performance by several players who shouldn't be playing championship football let alone a higher level.
-
Probably a tad sinister but I can't see us signing him until bar has been confirmed due to severe lack of funds.....
-
Pardew after the game said "This is done bar the medical, which is important." First of many I hope
