Was looking forward to a quiet night in, it's turned a bit shit though as my mam's broke her leg so she's in hospital for the night.

Yay lunchtime. Busy week here so it's flown by. I've stupidly agreed to come into work tomorrow though, what a gimp.

Hmm... I've had one of those 'calm before the storm' type mornings. The afternoon is going to be a bitch but that means it'll fly by.

My auntie married and divorced Jackie Milburn's son. Kieron Dyer once hit me on the head with a bag of Doritos. I talked to Steve Stone for hours at a party a few years ago. Sound guy, but couldn't take him seriously as it was 70s fancy dress and he'd done quite a job. Not really very impressive taking into account some of the others in here.

Occasionally I'll give to someone playing an instrument - usually a guitar because that makes the nicest sound. Though the last begger I gave money to had told me he was going to use it to buy drugs. I admired his honesty.

My friend moved down to Norfolk a couple of years ago and was disappointed when her boyfriend brought his caged bird into their new home. Every time I used to see her she whinged about how noisy it was and how it shouldn't be in a cage anyway so I always used to joke that when I went down there for her wedding I'd set it free. The wedding was a few weeks ago and I met the bird for the first time - didn't see what her fuss was about really because it barely moved and didn't make a sound. So naturally I joked that it didn't want them to get married, etc, etc. The bloody thing died on their wedding day and the groom was late for the evening do because he'd been burying it. Think that made my friend's wedding day perfect tbh.

I'm trying to revise at the moment which is why I'm spending even more time loafing on the computer than usual. Next week I'll probably unplug my computer so I can actually sit and revise and not be tempted to "just check my emails" etc.

My boyfriend's there at the minute and reckons it's shite so far and full of tossers. Haven't spied him on pud's pictures yet like..

1. I really, REALLY should be revising. 2. I might as well make something to eat first. 3. I've just renewed my season ticket. 4. I bought a dress yesterday, which is the first I've owned since I was about 7. 5. I'm off to a wedding later in the week which I'm really dreading.

Ugh, I'm saving for a house but it's pretty much a lost cause at the minute. Had a few auction catalogues through work recently and there's barely anything that's remotely affordable, unless it's a massive dump.

Ugh. Depressed. Everyone else has gone home.

What you up to these days? Assistant Team Leader on the Princes Trust. The team doesn't start till 18th June though so it's loaftastic till then. Team Leader eh.. I hope you've got your bastard hat on.

It's alright. Not as good as the first and personally I thought it was fairly predictable but it's worth seeing IMO. There's been a run of a few decent films recently like - Spiderman 3, 28 Weeks Later, Zodiac, looking forward to seeing POTC as well and I'm sure there were a couple more.

It says online ticket renewals are available but it won't let me - has anyone else tried? I keep getting the message 'There are currently no valid selections ... Seat (W/**********) is currently not reserved for renewal' Anyone else tried?

What you up to these days?

1. I've already done the important work for today so this afternoon should be a cruise. 2. This is the first time I've posted in this thread. 3. This morning I had to type a CV for a job I've been in 3½ years (they've just realised they're meant to have personnel files for an upcoming audit) 4. I'm going to spend my bank holiday weekend being a dork and revising for exams. 5. I'm about to go and splash out on a few Red Bulls to get me through the afternoon.

Recently: 28 Weeks Later - Decent but a bit too predictable Zodiac - I preferred the book and it dragged a little but was quite well made Pierrepoint - Really liked it

Yay for Friday. Got a half 5 finish though which is mega gay so I'm going to milk my hour and a half lunch break and aim for more like two hours.
