First day back at work after a week off.. I expected a mountain of shit to come back to but deep down I was secretly hoping that somebody had done it all for me - no joy though.

I played on the netball, hockey & rounders teams at school and was reasonable at all of them but not great. I played football as well for a local girls team and was going to go to a trial for the county one time but I ended up injured - gutted at the time but probably a blessing in disguise as I don't reckon I would've made it through anyway. I was decent at sprints and high jump/long jump as well but not enough to do them seriously, and I have about 8 awards from a gymnastics club when I was in primary school, hated that with a passion though tbf.

Easy one for me today.. Just got back from Amsterdam this morning so my watch & phone are already an hour ahead.

I always love the first few weeks where you can throw shit at them constantly until the novelty wears off. We've got a new one starting in a couple of weeks. Happy days.

Just got to get through tomorrow then I'm off to Amsterdam for the week. Dress down day an'all.

Worst Friday ever. When I left work at 11.30am yesterday I had done the vast majority of my work.. came in this morning and it's carnage, bah frickin' humbug.. I want to skive. Focusing on: bottle of wine tonight

Most of my friends are people I've known for years.. a couple since primary school and a few more close friends from high school - don't really keep in contact with many others from school. That said, I don't actually see my best friends a great deal. Out of my five closest friends from school, three are still at uni, one lives down south now and one is working all hours whilst she saves to go travelling. Obviously we keep in touch constantly and all see each other when we can but that's not as often as I'd like. When we do meet up though it's just the same as it's always been.. because they're my best mates. My boyfriend struggles to grasp the fact that I rarely see my best friends as none of his lot went away to uni so they've rarely gone a week without seeing each other a couple of times.

I can't bear Comic Relief.. I hate "wacky" charity.

Loving my quiet Sunday. Watched a few things I'd recorded on Sky+ and now just loafing on here.. however my mam has just rang to inform me she's bringing my gran, auntie & cousin back here after Sunday lunch (which I couldn't be arsed to go to due to hangover/laziness) so my peace is about to be shattered..

Just when I was having a nice (quick) Friday I've had to endure a hideous "lunch" in the Boardroom with clients - rank posh sandwiches, dirty looking crisps and dry cake.. devastated.. at least it was free.
