1. hardly the same. for one sunderland are our real rivals and not that team down near N.yorkshire. and secondly, losing 3 points is not the same as losing european qualification after a 38 game season. 121969 Do you go to the UEFA Cup games? Not a soopafan question, I think that those who do go are more likely to say they don't want to qualify particularly especially if it means the Beasts winning something. I got sick to death of the bloody thing last two years.
2. unless you have a delorean 60 miles in an hour is quite reasonable 121971 Indeed it is, and Middlesbrough is about 30 miles, no more.
3. 60 miles! Last time we talked about this, you claimed it was an hour journey. Do you travel to Middlesbrough via Carlisle or what?
4. J69 it's all relative. In my opinion, UEFA Cup qualification is not enough to make me want Boro to win a European trophy, in the same way I would sacrifice three points if it meant sunderland didn't win the league (hypothetically speaking, since I can't see it being an issue ) Champions League would be a different story. The UEFA Cup is worthless unless you get to the final, otherwise it's just too many games, paying ridiculous prices to sit in SJP and freeze to death every other Thursday watching us play teams from Israeli mountain villages.
5. Hold on, I'm confused though, didn't your original post say "If West Ham finish 6th..."?... which surely is a valid question... I think?
6. Glad to see it's not just me then.
7. First in the league at least since the 2-1 against Chelsea I believe, two seasons ago now. EDIT: http://www.nufc.com/html/2004-04-25chelsea-h.html Not far off two years to the day.
8. I've got £8 on at 66/1.

10. Tonight is also the anniversary of the night the Titanic went down. Just thought I'd mention that.
11. Interesting how Rochemback was so appalling at the beginning of the season and just about every single Boro fan would have been delighted to see the back of him, but the management kept faith with him and he's now an integral part of the team. Lucky they didn't take the Newcastle United approach of watching him bottle one tackle and hoy him out in the cold.
12. Jesus! I know it was a new record when they played Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, but that was still in the 69,000 bracket, I'm sure. Where the frig have they got another 2000 seats from???
13. I don't think I've ever been so angry in all my years following NUFC as when Boro bottled out of playing us.
14. Agree with PL. I always want to put them in their place more so we don't have to hear them rattle on about their "Top Dogs" trophy which only exists when they beat us.
15. Whatever you think of Shola in general, he's on fire at the moment.

So after he went into the shop and searched fruitlessly for the money, you've heard nothing from him or made contact Pud?
20. Looks like possible streaming links or something. The Premier League should find something better to do with their time, if you ask me.
