I'd heard about him doing some sort of spoof video over in the states for some interviewer who had some long running fake feud with him and when I googled it this came up: http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/stor...ml?from=mostpop It's great to see he went along with it for as long as he did even getting in on it at the end

Well the Italian and Spanish leagues are doing just fine paying out lower wages than we are you said so yourself. when exactly did i say that? i said they're doing fine allowing foreign players in their leagues Thats what I was meaning you had said the "paying out lower wages" was my point sorry reading it back I hadn't written it right. My overall point was that you had said the Italian and Spaniards were doing fine and I was pointing that they do this despite having much less money than our clubs, so they are fielding many of their homegrown players and at the same time competing Continentally and Internationally so having less money in which to entice foreign players is doing their national teams a lot of good.

Thanks for explaining, it's certainly a different way of doing things but I guess it's working, I've always thought the draft system was a good idea with the poorest teams getting to pick first unless they trade with a higher up team helps even things out. The draft system wouldn't work over in Europe now though it would be too difficult and too hard to change to it.

What is the league below the MLS? I've heard about the US having a 'developmental league' or something where only American youth players play in it what's that about if it's true?

Arsenal spend big though fair enough they do get quite a few players who turn brilliant on the cheap like Fabregas, but then they go out and pay over the odds for players as well like Jose Antonio Reyes who cost in excess of £20million Hleb and Rosicky were expensive, Eduardo cost £15m ish, then when they do get a good young English player they rarely play such as Bentley and Walcott (to a certain extent). Teams like Aston Villa have a lot of good English players that they have either brought through their system (Agbonlahor etc) or bought (Young etc), players such as Hleb cost just as much as Young and being honest they aren't better are they? Perhaps putting a wage cap would help as Foreigners may decide to play on the continent allowing them to earn more, meaning more places for English/British youngsters and if they too decide to play abroad then that is also good for our national team. As for saying the other 2 big leagues do fine, I'd agree but look at their players discounting AC and Inter Milan Italian players are the majority, the same goes with the Spanish league, except that Real Madrid and Barcelona also field many Spaniards, la liga is also mostly Spaniards. The reason the premiership attracts more foreign players than the other 2 big leagues is it is a far richer league and wages are much higher our mid-table clubs pay out as much as the top 2 Spanish and Italian clubs in wages.

No, no it isnt. What if one gets injured? Are you meant to only put another UK player on just to keep these happy? I agree with the sentiment, but its worthless unless the whole of football agreed. If anything, it should be in the squad or in the starting lineup. But, I just cant see it happening. We manage it with ease, even Manchester United and Chelsea do it's just teams like Arsenal that can't manage this.

Would love it if it was far less stop and go. Actual play is cool but far too many stoppages to make it enjoyable. Plus it's just ridiculously over the top, 60 players, special players, every inch of movement is a tactic... Might give this one a watch though I totally agree, I do like it alot but I would enjoy it a lot more if the breaks between plays weren't so long the fact that they either cut to adverts or to the studio is annoying as well I'd rather stick with the game. The average time the games take whenever I watch seems to be around 3 hours they could easily knock a lot of time off this, I think they may need to do this if they really do want to 'break' the European market.

They're proving they know nowt yet again ffs why would Ashley and Mort bring someone in with the intention to undermine a manager who they just brought in I say this because I'm not longer sure if these windowlickers are trying to state fact or making yet another hilarious satirical view of our club. As far as I can tell Wise can't bring in senior players, that's Keegans department, his job is simply to bring in youth players and that tripe about Wise 'privately rejecting claims that he'll answer to Keegan' what a load of shit I should think Wise is more intelligent than to start a new job thinking he's above the manager and on top of that take on a club favorite, he isn't going to be beating Keegan in any popularity contest is he. Also what would Wise get out of undermining Keegan? if he is apparently saying he quit Leeds because he was sick of commuting he's hardly going to be desperate to become our manager. edit/ I noticed that at the end of the article @yourservice posted the writer mentions that Arsenal is ran "the old-school way" strange that because Giles Grimandi seems to be the one buying all the quality youth players that Arsenal pick up it's just Wenger gets all the credit off writers like him.

Well looking forward too it, I like the Cowboys and the Chargers so since they are both out I'm wanting the Patriots to win for that record. Has anyone else noticed how much they are talking about Tynes and Umenyiora about them being born in Britain, too be fair they are both basically American, Tynes dad was American and I think he was in the US air force while he was posted here Tynes was born then he moved back to USA when he was 12 and Osi only lived in London for his first 7 years they both even have Yank accents ffs, shameless attempt to pull in Brit viewers tbh.

I thought the fans just chanted Mido the Paedo simply because his name rhymes with it, so she's the one linking Paedophiles to islam making her the 'Islamaphobe'

can you clue me in on this one... He's referring to when Bellamy (not entirely sure if it was him) threw some chairs at carver when they were arguing.

That was pathetic, just as pathetic was this response: This coming from a guy who supports a club where the chairman is in love with the manager despite him being shit and is just trying to turn sunderland into Man utd's reserve side. Also I fail to see how our set-up is a farce it seems a pretty good idea to have the manager concentrating on the first team while someone else ensures our youth set-up is working and bringing in new yougsters I'm guessing he simply doesn't know what he's talking about and doesn't know Wise's actual role so he should butt out the thick inbred.

The MoD just sent me a lovely letter informing me my details were among those stolen from the MoD laptop, they say their security fell way below their high standards and say sorry a few times, great can't see owt happening with my details but I'll be right fucked off if something does. Does anyone know how many others got nicked?

Ah right is that their only loss? As for going down I just see those below us as being alot worse I know we haven't bought but look at the players the clubs below us have brought in. Derby are gone for sure, Fulham only have 16 points and Wigan + Birmingham have 20 each I don't see them catching that 7 point gap. Obviously we shouldn't just assume that we are staying up and get complacent but I am confident that we can avoid being relegated as we do have alot of the teams below us to play at home.
-
To be fair we've played Bolton who played the 10-0-1 formation and then Arsenal twice in a row at the Emirates, which they are unbeaten in (I think). We aren't safe at the minute but I doubt we will go down there are plenty of teams much worse than us and we've still got 4 players to come back.

They're all on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=oddball71&p=r they are good quality as well.

I've been watching this series and so far it has been very good, up there with his series about gangs. I think it is also good that Kemp doesn't bother putting in any of the politics and debates he simply is trying to give us insight into what the soldiers are experiencing. Just wondering if anyone else is watching it, I think the first two episodes are on youtube as well.

His two against Spurs were crackers though, shearers vs Everton was another good volley. Maybe not the best but they are some good'uns too. Ok this one wasn't in the prem but it is some goal:
