I took a job as a trainee painter & decorator when I was 17 just to get work. That was £35 a week (YTS). But I done that until I found something I wanted (trained in business studies etc with placements in different business)

Shutter Island - Very good and deserved the plaudits. I didnt really know what it was about before I watched it and found the story pretty good. Another that moves at a decent pace and keeps you interested throughout.

Ive got three of the Lowpro bags, each for different occassions (I dont always want to carry all my lenses etc). I'd also like to just spend a day in town and take photo's of random people. Im not keen on posed images, natural movement shows so much more.

Other places to look up: Quayside Baltic (over millenium bridge from Quayside) Centre for Life to get to the Metro Centre - tough one for me as I drive, I know there is a bus, no 100 iirc, that I think leaves from near the monument.

I like the room pic also. But I also like the pic of the sign. I'm quite taken by black & white shots and do like those with an industrial feel.

Well, I made a slight error when buying the lens. I needed one with a motor and bought the one without so it is manual focus only. Not that terrible a thing but it can be pretty tough at time to get the images as sharp as Id like. I usually have to take 4-6 shots and change the focus ring a small amount each time.

Birds These were taken at Centreparcs in cumbria. Used my telephoto with ISO 400. Used burst mode for each shot and a fairly large aperture. I ended up with around 300 photo's this day. That was because trying to capture the birds in flight at the right moment etc is tough. Last one not as sharp as it should have been.
