If fact, after the stick he has had (rightly so), he could well sell the club to someone he knew would only strip it. Fact is, Mike will sell to the highest bidder and take nothing else into account.

Isnt that how the admin role expanded? by getting more regular posters involved? Cant have a forum off 100% admin tbf. Another forum I used to use had a traffic light on the user. Amber after a warning and it showed on their account. Then red if they were banned. Would also be banned for a length of time depending on the reason. Thing is though, there has to be a line to cross. Its easy for those who have no come back over posts to say the admins are being too PC or whatever quip they pull out of a hat without much thought, but its not they who are ultimately responsible. For the record, I thought he was amusing at times / screeming for attention other times. But as with any member here, if they get banned, Im hardly going to spit my dummy out over it. Im happy to have a place to post that is laid back.

I guess we could feed off scraps, any that were not picked up by other prem teams. No one springs to mind that would be left that we would benefit from. Unless perhaps any loan signing they had thats returned.

@ the OP, yes, I think it could have been us. Pretty scary tbf. No matter what you think, like or dislike about their club, its a sad state when they get dragged down to this, and potentially oblivion due to some foreign owener fancying a play thing or the latest fad. I think many clubs could be on the brink, and many you would not reaslise. all it takes is for the owner to have financial issues and need to use his cash elsewhere. The clubs are hardly their priority.

Just got back fro the match. No really! Was staying down in Nottingham last night and went to the game with some customers, sitting in the Derby end Firstly, 3-0 no way reflects the balance of play in the game. They started much stronger but we eventually got hold of the game and started to push for a goal. Our problem was our quality in the final third. To me we needed to do much better in getting the ball to the forwards. More so, and I think for most of the game, Derby wanted it more and went the extra 10% to win the ball. Then against the run of play they scored and then they had the penalty that never ever should have been. Even the Derby fans I was with agreed the lad went down looking for it. So then it was 2-0. The start of the second half was all us but we just couldnt get through. Personally I think the front two were poor, Jonas was running at them well with no en result as usual. Routledge was good and Im starting to quite like him, giving us good balance on the wings. Van anholt or whatever he is called was shite and looked lost and I really think we miss Taylor and Collocini at the back. Nolan was pretty anonymous as well. Overall I think the difference was them fighting to win each ball and us not. To me, a 1 goal difference would have been more realitic to the balance of play. Oh, our away fans were in good voice until the last 20mins when we, along with the team, seemed to have given up. Trying to be optimistic, Im hoping this gives the team a kick up the arse and we no longer think we can stroll the league. Still along way to go and while we'll drop more points, I still see no reason why we wont go on and finish top 2.

We cant expect every player to wear the no9 to become a cult hero. They are by their nature once every generation or so. (some more I know). I bet anyone here can name more crap no 9's we've had than good.
