I checked a few things at Asda: Nuts approx £0.70 / 100g Dried fruit £1.00 / 100g Olives (yuk) £0.50 / 100g In my box today I got Olives 60g almonds 25g pinapple/pecan 50g dried cherries 30g Based on Asda would have cost approx £1.28 for standard, so you'd need to add a bit more for chilli almonds over normal and dried morello cherries over normal etc. Say 1.75. So, I'm paying just over a quid each week (I would usually buy a bag of dried fruit/nuts anwyay), for delivery to my desk and variety. Worth it imo. Unless they send olives.
  2. I know I asked the GP in our street (who isnt at our practice) and I know he recommended it, or at least I also know his kids have had it. He commented that he had seen how poorly some of the kids have been brought to him and that he wanted to do what he could to shield his children from that. again, more so with him potentially coming in contact regularly. Im also conscious that our 2yr old now goes to different play group things and that increases his exposure.
  3. From that article: "A survey by the magazine Nursing Times found a third of nurses would refuse the vaccine. That presumably reflects their perception that it is not a very serious illness. "This raises a fundamental issue about vaccination. For an individual parent the risk of swine flu to their child is low, so the benefit from vaccination is low. But if you have a virus that affects 30 per cent of the population then a lot of people will fall ill and a lot will die and the best way to prevent that is to have all the population vaccinated. Or for the full part:
  4. Well, got my 2yr old appt letter through and me and the wife agreed to get it done. Booked for this Friday.
  5. Lampard was not the first but in any case the bloke was overcome with emotion. He could have spun on his head for all I cared, fair play to the bloke. Given how supportive it is documented his father was, I can imagine the tide of emotion he would have felt.

Got my first one today. Hot chilli almonds are awesome. If they send me Olives of any description again I will drive to them and kick them in the teeth.
  7. So, loan arrangements are all coming to a close and the chance of us signing anyone is slim to none. Is anyone really surprised? Come on, top of the league, why would we possibly need to sign anyone?
  8. So, NR, funded by the taxpayer, renews sponsorship. The Mackems will be please
  9. Also slapped in a slice of buttered bread.
  10. I see he has opened a new Butchers in Bradford? "Halal, is it meat you're looking for"
  11. While we haven't been offered it yet for our 2yr old, we have already agreed on getting it when we are.
  12. Very. Dont know why but I love the FA Cup. No matter what season we are having I've always went and it could often be a break from the dross. Years ago I used to get to only cup games. Being top of the league I think has made many let slide just what that utter utter cunt has done to our club. The fact we get good attendances (myself included) I'm convinced make him think everything is rosey again. I also hope he noticed this. Just a shame he is too fucking thick to realise. Fact is, when we get promoted (I know I shouldnt be so presumptuous), we're right back to where we were and this fucking nightmare starts over all again. I back NUST fully. I dont think the club will ever be in the fans hands, but not backing NUST is the only way to ensure that. I hate that bloke with a passion for what he's done.
  13. Oh, and you must get the Talking Carl app. Especially if you have young kids
  14. I Use a different bit of software to back up my phone (when I remember). Also iTunes holds your purchases there so you can grab them again for free. I also use microsoft exchange so all my emails and contacts are stored on their server so if I need to restore the phone I can get that lot back in a minute.

If you dont eat nuts/seeds/crispythings/fruit etc during the day then Im sure it is. I usually buy a huge bag of nuts (almonds typically) that I munch on during the week at my desk. Id much rather have a few different things. So to me, it sounds canny. Giving it a whirl anyway, can't really judge till I've tried it.
  16. I've maintained for a while that I don't want to give MA any more cash. Buying outright the three year season ticket and then seeing what he done to the club was a massive kick in my bollocks. The decision was made by being a mid-week game as when Im in from work I have a smiley 10 week old to contend with.

Well, just put my order in to give it a try.
  18. Thats the same as I'm using. Only had a few weeks as well. Still only got the kit lens (18-55mm), though I've just bought a polarising filter. Looking to buy a decent telephoto and macro lens. Just not yet. Only just getting into photography.
  19. Not by a long shot. The road is now clear, but our paths are at around 18" and where we have been clearing the side of the roads are around 2ft.
