The Official Toontastic © Transfer Dealine Day Thread ™

Would have been nice to get someone in but does it really matter? We wont go down (I believe if I say that enough it will come true), and we wont get into Europe. So, there is no need to panic buy or take needless risks for the sake of it. This way, KK gets to know his squad (shouldnt take that long the size of it), the people around him have more time to identify targets and we can go about it rationally in the summer. I just dont think signing anyone now would make a whole difference to our season. -
I do find it odd, but kinda understandable. He has been pushed further down the list at CB more so with Beye and Feye coming back, and Taylor and Cacapa also there. He cant play LB or RB or CM. Though cover might have been handy, I think KK is more likely now to give one of the youngsters a chance who might to just as well in those positions if the need arises.

Its basically a danish with maple syrup and pecan nuts in it. Lush But then I am a sucker for the Danish counter....

Ah, if its NR, then you'll prob get a penalty of a few million
-
Usually, but depends on the mortgage. Some come with no penalties etc. If you are re-mortgaging with the same provider then you are usually fine iirc. Easiest thing is to ring the provider, say you are thinking of moving house and want to know if there are any penalties on whatever you are on now so you can factor it in. Or, dig out your old agreement letter.

i thought we had already signed a few other youngsters, like that hungarian fella? Not since Wise has been here

From his point of view he has a point (Duh!), and I think he certainly doesnt adapt well to other positions. I did think he was canny to begin with but now.... not so sure. Id certainly restrict him to the role he wants, but that would get him even less games than he gets now. Can't be arsed to retype that, but it's probably the worst couple of sentences I've ever wrote I knew what I meant...

Duff should use the search function and have posted in the anyone excited thread

Its to go with the other young kids that have been coming in of late. All to do with improving the academy and actually making it work for us.

This. + Get a posh lawyer you tells them to fuck off. If it's his business tho then in reality that particular fact doesn't really make a blind bit of difference. In reality he winds the business up, thus it no longer exists and cannot be sued. Great plan like. I'm sure he wants to do that Its still a scam. What i was trying to get over is that if it was a Ltd Co. The individal cannot be sued in these circumstances. If for instance the figure was 20k it would be worth his while closing and starting again in a different name. A local company went pop owing us 125k plus That company has since done a pheonix Completely different circumstances to this though. I know plenty of companies go bust and start up again when they've had big debts but this sort of thing could probably be sorted for a few hundred quid. It probably could tbf. Just make sure the payment is to them and not Getttty images or something
-
Thats quite right actually. If its a LTd Co then at best they can make demands of the company and no individual. If it was a sole trader but Ltd, its still the company and not the person. Like Berb says, if it was that bad you would just fold and restart, although you need a different directors name on the books if you do. You also have to look at your other suppliers/customers and credit history and decide if its worth doing. It is common, as its happened to me a few times (people going "pop" on me) in the last few years. Cnts.
-
Id be well fucked off if that happened like. Hopefully we can turn things around enough to show this is place he should be.

When I was working on my work website I was told to be very careful with images. If you simply copy and image and use it then whoever owns the image can bill you per day or whatever that the image has been used. Not only that, but lets say you put it in place on Jan 1st, and they realise on June 1st, they are well within their rights to wait until the end of the year and then send you an invoice for a years use! What I had to do was email the people who owned the images and get their approval to use the images. I done this and all were happy enough and didnt even ask for recognition. Was an image website I use.

Peeling a medicine ball would be pretty impressive though.
