When we named our bairn, our short list was Samuel (Sam), Benjamin (Ben) or Leon. What we found though was that we both had names we didnt like (generally) or didnt want as we related them to people we didnt like. Such as Sophia I liked for a girl, but our lass knew someone who she didnt like called Sophie so we ruled it out. We ruled out Leon only because thats the same name as my sisters bairn. We also wanted to rule out common names. THough our lass did like Joshua.

For me, the midfield holds many of our problems. Going backwards and forwards.

Because I'm still on holiday I spent 20mins checking over what Id wrote down (ok, spreadsheet sad bastard that I am), and realised that : We're 7 points down on last season team for team (last season 33pts from teams we've played) BUT! We've scored 1 more goal (26 this season to last seasons 25) Though.... we've conceded a huge 12 goals more (36 this season to 17 last season) - with our much improved defensive play... BUT! We've taken less red cards, none this season to 1 last AND 7 less yellow cards this season 36 to 31. After the same number of games last season though against different teams, we were also in 11th. You might be able to get stats to say what you want, but Id struggle to find someone to get ours to say we were heading in the right direction.

How the hell have 350 people got new information now after it being all over the news all year! I dont think 350 will be new info from the initial incident. Assuming she is still alive, there is every chance she has been spotted in between times. The appeals are there to jog peoples memories of anything up to this point, not just the first thing.

Given then as I previously pointed out, game on game we are 4 points behind where we were last season. these are the next six league games. In brackets, the points from last seasons fixture. Chelsea (a) -- (0) Man City (h) -- (0) Man Utd (a) -- (0) Bolton (h) -- (0) Arsenal (a) -- (1) Boro (h) -- (1) So a total of two points. Surely this is an opportunity for Sam to catch up with the three home games? For the record, I reckon we will get 0 from the away games and 4 from the home (and thats being optimistic)

Pretty much my feelings. I'm loath to start shouting for him to be given the push. Its too easy to do and its never worked before (for us). Thats pretty much irrelevant though and we'd need good thought put to any such a move before it was done. I actually cringe when I hear people shouting for Shearer to come in. It might have worked for KK, but that will never happen again and the sooner we put those days behind us the better. Long gone. Yet, like most, Im just sick to fuck of the football being played by us. I thought Sam could work and more and more I think I was wrong. Small club manager used to a small club mentality from fans and players alike. Thats no disrespect to Bolton. Its clearly not working. We have improved not one bit and in fact, are currently worse off compared to last season. Im also slowly starting to hear more excuses slip into Sams excuses. The lastest being the squad are "some" his own players and some inherited. But, like he likes to tell us, he's the expert.

We wont. Id keep your money. (no really, give it to me ). I just cant see us climbing back up the table. We're now in 11th and really think we should be watching out for the likes of Spurs who I firmly believe will leap frog us. We have some tough games coming up now.
