Didnt look that bad. I noticed the top corners of the midlburn L777 were empty but thats normal. Still overall canny full like. I did notice Barton gesture to the East stand to up the noise like, was fair enough in one sense, but in another if he worried as much about his own game as he seems to the crowd he'd solve some of the problem himself.

Thought Id give this its own thread. While its a subject that we have been over numerous times, I thought some recent comments should be highlighted: That from .com and That taken from Sky Sports. Now I know to the majority its obvious. Cause and effect. Reaction to reaction etc. But surely, surely people have to start to realise that when we are shit (and fuck have we been of late) we need to get behind the team and not entertain the away support just because its panto season.

Ive just had that emailed to me today, oddly enough from a customer in Glasgee

I agree mostly with the OP. Barton has a long way to go before Im convinced. I would have brought Emre on for him. While some have said he maybe should have left Smith up front when Viduka came on, I think at that moment he (Sam) had an eye on keeping the 1 point. Smith worked so hard up front, not just going forward, but chasing and closing down when they had possession. Maybe he wanted that in midfield for the dying minutes. I also noted that when Geremi took the throw ins into the box, Smith won 8/10 of them. Could of time Milner or Zog put crosses in, there was no one at the back post. I think the right needs to be sorted still. Like most here, Id have Milner right, Zog left with Beye and Enrique as full backs. As for Martins, I love the guy, love his passion at times (look at his reaction when Taylor scores ), but he often makes the wrong choice. When he should lay it off he goes alone and looses possession, when he should go alone he lays it off etc. Still, he can learn this if anyone is pointing it out to him.

Well, that goes for the crowd as well as the players. Both sets need to do the same again. We need to be as up for Brum as we were for Arsenal. No good just getting behind them when one of the top teams comes (not that we did against 'pool). If we start off the same (excluding the conceded goal ), hopefully the players will. But, we need to keep pressing and pushing as we did last night. I have to mention as well, I was pleased to see us playing football and not hoofing the ball up front. Id just like to see us using the width more, esp the right.

Just got back in. throats gone and me hands are red through not being used to clapping! Much better performance. Only Geremi/Barton were a bit dodgy. Much better from smith up front. We still need the RW sorted. Now we need more of the same this weekend or its been a waste of time. good to hear the fans getting behind the team, esp when we went 1-0 down.

Almost 2m speeding tickets a year adds up to an estimated £115.2m a year.

Anyway, Ive said a few times, for me the biggest test isnt against Arsenal, but against the games following that we should be winning. We'll have a much better idea where we are come Xmas. But it has to start on Saturday with brum. If we get the points that we should get from those, and we still sit 13-10th then it probaly what Id have expected. Finishing the year 12-9th is also what I expect with progress from that next year. Not that Ill like it, because I really dont like his style. More so now that Im seeing it first hand. But at the moment, we have neither a style or results and that needs to change.

If their defence is shakey then ours is positively convulsing. Even with a shakey back line, where do our goals come from with 9 men behind the ball? Gawd I sound to depressive these days..... Edit : and its started to rain/sleet

Sams game plan is to stop the opposing team playing. Arsenal have too much class for us to do that. so we will spend the game chasing shadows. Im going there thankful Ill get to see some decent football. shame its not from us. 0-2 (and thats optimistic).

From memory I had some of the "show each others" before I had a kiss! Cant recall the first kiss, I think it was when I was about 12 and me and two mates were with three lasses and we each had to kiss one. The one I kissed said it was like kissing a budgie as I pecked. As for first proper kiss, Ive got no idea.

Performance > Position There were some shit performances mixed in there as well though, Jimbo. They seemed to die out once Wadsworth found a new job mind. I can't disagree mate, but one major difference is that we weren't scratching our heads at basic managerial decisions like we are at the moment. There were absolutely loads of times people were sat in the perplexed at Robson's decisions tbh. Aye some of his subs were getting strange. BUT, we were still top 6 and playing half decent football. Seems a nice problem to have these days eh.

Yup, although a blanket 20mph in built up areas (as is being proposed by the Government presently) is a bit too far. Same with speed cameras - it they are SAFETY cameras and not revenue cameras they should only be used in areas where they will make a difference and need to be seen to make sure people are doing the safe speed there. Well yes, you cant grade all current 30mph built up zones the same. Given new housing estates have much smaller roads etc then they of course should be at 20, area's with schools or playfields (if theres any left). but some should stay as 30mph where there is more open space etc. -

Gawd I hate this subject nearly as much as I hate those that spout "dont speed and it wont be an issue" etc I do a hell of a lot of motorway driving. The problem isnt speed, its tossers tailgating / undertaking / lane sitting for no reason. If everyone stuck to 70 you'd still get HGVs doing 55-58, still get the need to get past them and still get the idiots driving 5ft behind you no matter the road conditions. It aint jusrt about speed, its general driving skills and lack of awareness. For me, Id like to see some motorways increased to 80mph and more built up area's dropped to 20mph. -

Ive got a Smith Machine with additional weights, dumb bells, 2 x bar bells. All weights can be used on each item. Bench with it. I also have about 2m x 3m of flooring for it (gym tiles). Whole lot was bought about 2 years ago for about £700. If it can be collected, Ill do it for £200. I'll get some pictures up in a day or two. Edit : Ok, scrap the idea of me taking a picture. If you looked in my garage where this is you'd understand why (but I found my kitchen door!) So, Ive scoured the net and here we are:

I go through phases. I like chinees, but get bored of it after having it once a week for a couple of month. Takeaway that is. If eating out, Italian is my first choice then chinees/indian.
