Went back to see The Hobbit but this time in HFR as I was keen to see what the difference was. Didn't like it at all. Not the film, which I did enjoy but the HFR. It felt like you were watching a play or a documentary more than a film and that lost all immersiveness. Also went to see The Life of Pi. It was ok, nothing special. Again I think I'd be sucked in my the hype and so expected more. Visually impressive but not that special a film overall.

I'll just add I cant stand London like. For the odd weekend, sure if Im taking wor lass to the theatre or something but as a whole I find it unfriendly and unpleasant. Similarly like there are loads of places I'm eager to visit. Next on my list I think will be New York and then somewhere like Calgary as I want to see a lot of Canada.

I think mine are pretty obvious. Rome, its just a stunning city. Milan, Ive been a few times and love the place. I have yet to see a woman that wasnt stunning in Milan like. Huge city and then on the outskirts some Vineyards that you can go to etc. Barca I always enjoy and you get a good mix of good climate and nightlife. Only been to Miami in the states and that city itself is nothing to write home about apart from driving around feeling like you are in GTA Vice City Miami Beach was ok though. Rio though I'll add. Its somewhat downtrodden but I do think its a place you should see once. Some of the food is fantastic and when you hear about the various footballers that grew up there and play on the beach as kids and then you see them all there (kids). Also went to the Maracana there to see a game (Botafogo v someone I cant recall) and while the stadium was huge, the crowd was probably 20-30k.

BMI is bullshit like. Ignore it. Its takes absolutely no account of muscle mass and muscle is heavier than fat. For example if you lost 1" of fat and added 1" of muscle your weight and BMI would go up showing you to be theoretically worse off. best judge you have is the mirror.

I'm 13st 10lb now like despite coming off the rails over Xmas. I reckon I'll be nearer 13 come Easter. Waist I'm down from 35" to 33".

I don't really make resolutions. Made some good progress health wise over last 5-6 months and while I'm doing everything I shouldn't over Xmas ill kick start that again. Otherwise, that's it really.

Also got new trainers which is just as well as I've been a right fat cunt over Xmas and not done yet. Reinstalled the "myfitnesspal" app on my phone and I've given myself until the 1st to eat/drink and be a slob then it's back at it.

We can absolutely walk away with our heads high after that. Players and manager. Hopefully take that confidence in to next games, especially players like Cisse. Damn shame about Anita though who has been getting better every game.
