yeah so that looks like you have boosted it up. Best way to think of saturation is having paint pots of colour. You either remove the colour back to the pot (desaturate) or pour more on the image (saturate). You can then do it colour by colour so you could boost only reds for example and remove everything else (like what Andy done above)

I'm not keen on it myself, its been overdone imo. That said I have a canvas on my wall of a pic I took and done just that, which was one of my kids and I only coloured the lady bird he had on his arm. In fact, Ive dug out the pic and this is it, its from about 2 1/2 yrs ago so I'll blame my inexperience then

So, to give you an example Ive very quickly had a look at that pic in LR. This is what I done - - Adjustment Brush - Removed all saturation and brushed away the colour apart from around the flower top - Increased brightness to lighten it up a bit - Increased contrast to help make it "pop" a bit - Added some vignetting, just .. because This is what I got

Lightroom is good for making the whole pic b&w but PS would be better for selective colouring. I like that shot actually. You "could" maybe use LR then desaturate the whole image and then use the fix brush and resaturate the one area. PS would be better though as its made for that kind of thing. you could do it with a couple of layers.

I think we all know that Ba and Cisse cant play together, they both like being the main striker and neither do as well pushed outside. for that Id like to see us have more options up front. There you go, voted I had to laugh recently at a statement by Llambias who said AP wasnt in danger and we were allowed a bad season. Well, thats no surprise given that I blame the bulk of the issue on him and the lack of spending. In the past we have jumped up and down for a manager to be sacked as the rest of the prem pointed and laughed. Now we have stability in a long term deal for the manager and imo he needs to be given time to turn it around. I would hope that the owner will see what a fuck up he made by not investing in the summer and do so this winter. I think a couple of new faces could give the place a much needed lift and I hope they have learned from it. Sadly, I dont think they will and I fully expect to hear the "we tried but its hard, but at least we didnt sell" line. I do think Pardew can turn it around but I think we will slip in to the bottom 3 before we do. We might finished 14th but then we need to build again in the summer with lessons learned. You'd be foolish not to be concerned like, but its far from something thats going to make me spit out my dummy.

Zooropa was class. Pop followed iirc and that was the last I bought. I like a lot of the old stuff but Zooropa just takes me back as before we used to go to town that was our sat afternoon music spent eating MacDs and making speed in to wraps for the night. Oh the highlife On gigs though, I remember seeing the Orb at the Mayfair and being disappointed that you didn't really see them as such, they hid behind a big electronic thing set. Was prob just a CD playing... Last gig i seen at the Mayfair though was SLF i think or Ocean Colour Scene, SLF was a good laugh like.

You will recall I was trying to engage him but in honesty he would take one line from 20 you say and ignore the rest. People would agree and he would argue. It was like trying to appease one person while talking to another. Bouncing from thread to thread with snide remarks just makes the place unpleasant AND it brought that our in others as well as other posters done the same, making snide remarks about him in random threads.

Thing is though Stevie, the point that keeps being made and ignored is that no one largely disagreed with LM. this has been said over and over again. Its the fucked up manner in which he repeats himself so fucking tediously and absolutely ignores the bulk of peoples replies. That, and the opening sentence doesn't even make sense. He repeats again and again and then bleats on about being adult. Seriously. I've blocked him on twitter purely because I have better ways to spend my days than reading this bullshit.

Four hours and thirty eights fucking minutes. Left mackemland and and reached the A1 nee bother then everything stopped. Washinton services down to Chester le St was mental. I wasnt going to come off there as I heard that Stanley was stationary. I was going to take a rabbit run I know but I need to go through CLS to get to it so didnt bother. I went down to the A690 with the idea of going through durham, fucking nightmare. Usually takes 45mins and get him just before 6. I got home half nine. A lot due to black ice making roads impassable (hills anyway). But a hell of a lot basically down to stupid fucking people with no idea how to drive in poor weather.
