Thing is with the Beatles, they had hits from start to finish even as their style evolved. Favourite track of mine is actually While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Harrison). I remember the white album from being a kid as my Dad had it and has stuck loads of stickers on the front for some reason.

Each to their own. I was in to them before he topped himself. Like I say most people only know Nevermind which was more mainstream / moneymaker. Their albums that flanked that are much better.

Wouldn't say I was a fan but you can't really dismiss what they done. Such an influence for so many modern bands. I think most people prob have some Beatles favourites. I've certainly got a canny mix of their stuff on my iPhone.

I really like the Foo Fighters but not better than Nirvana. Bleach is a fantastic album. Try listening to stuff other than Nevermind.
