I voted Tory. I was wrong. Kind of. The problem for me is that while I completely agreed that the deficit needed reducing, when it was clear the economy wasnt going to grow no matter what they done due to its strangulation, they should have reversed their plan and boosted growth my increasing spending to turn the wheels. One of the reasons I hate politics. They wont change their mind through fear of ridicule even if its the right thing to do,

So far losing no key players is good and we have signed some promising young players which is also good. Just need a few bigger moves for the first team (especially as we let some fringe players go) and we'd be sorted.

Doing my walk today. Drive up to Alwinton (not far from Rothbury). Walk from there up to the border (Scotland) fence and up Windy Gyle and back down to Alwinton. It's about 12 mile all in and with stops should take about 6hrs. Be well chuffed if weather is like yesterday though typically cooler with a bit more wins higher up.

Agree Gosling looks a lot like Guthrie and also that I don't see any spark in Vukic but both are young and am not concerned about either yet. Obertan has pace but doesn't know how to use it.
