  1. 1-0 Gutieriez. Possible deflection.
  2. I'm pretty sure she didn't. In one article a few years ago she slagged Shearer (when he was still playing) something rotten, but began by saying that she had a bit of a thing for him at Euro 96 and that's why she started watching football.
  3. http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/5308157/ You'll have to listen up a bit to hear anything juicy.
  4. Forgotten about GTA. Just got it on Ebay for under a tenner delivered.
  5. Anyone recommend any decent games? Aside from Zelda, which I'll be getting anyway. I won one of these and as it stands it's now a rather large paperweight.
  6. 1-0 Sounds like Harper fluffed it.
  7. Didn't happen to me I went on holiday til the end of march then played through the first of April. Maybe it has to be before 12pm.
  8. I've never had it before, either.
  9. Hughton's job is to get us promoted. If we'd have had 3 decent strikers on our books then Carroll would have been dropped. We did not have those options. The 'big picture' that our Mackem scribe alludes to is securing promotion. We won't be back into the Premier League on high virtue. Nothing else matters. If Steven Taylor wants to leave because we didn't do something that would have cost us 2 points, well off you go. When it comes to the crunch, it's about going up. No-one is going to remember in 10 years time that there was a dressing room dust-up, all they'll remember is the 'P' next to the league record. Hughton surprised everyone in retaining Carroll for Tuesday, and it paid off. He took a tough decision in the public spotlight (something humdrum regional sports journalists rarely are called on to do). And despite the initial controversy, it's actually been less of a story than it could have been, mainly due to Hughton's blanking of media discussion. 'Surely diminished'? Not a chance. And quite how this whole affair could lead to the manager's eventual replacement for Steve McLaren is beyond me. I'd love to know exactly what this mystical 'chain of events' in Louise's head actually is. One of those occasions where the journalist totally backs the wrong pony. Why she thinks she is onto a winner with this is very strange. Totally agree with the bit in bold. As someone alluded too a few days ago, it looks like Taylors dad has been on the phone. I really couldnt care if we keep both, either or none. Ive always found Taylor funny and harmless and I dont like thugs, which Carrol definitely seems to be. Hopefully we can replace both in the summer. Not easy to replace them both though. Home grown and cost the club nowt. Both being young and English, how much would it cost to replace them like for like? Unnecessary burden on the summer transfer funds and plans.
  10. this But he had a chance, albeit truncated, in the PL and was utter cuntwash.

Reeks of Brian McNally's (or whatever the cocknose's surname is) demanding that the club handled the situation wrongly by saying nowt and not handing them any headlines. This way means there is slightly more chance of it being sorted ou in house,
  12. problem? Pokemón?! your asking if i have a problem Pokémon is the second most successful video game franchise of all time, sold 193m units over 43 games, number 1 is mario with 222m but over more than 200 games there is a reason, dismiss it as kids stuff if you like but if you were to wipe the "grown up" shite off the end of your nose and actually have a go you will find something truly superb and absolutely faultlessly made for comparison the entire fifa series has sold 65 mil and CoD 55 mil problem? Well yeah which kid that plays pokemon is gona sit reading that. you need to appeal to the older generation who want to sit down and read shiznit. The kid that played that is now part of the older generation. I was that kid, and yeah i grew out of it. You may not be a person who enjoys nostalgia, but there's plenty out there that do and I think that's who the blog is aimed squarely at. I know I enjoy having a look round the internet for games that I played on my old Spectrum, Amiga and Mega Drive.

  14. They either work through it themselves or one leaves. It rarely kicks off big style though, to the point where one won't sign a new contract at the club. Never had it get that extreme.
  15. Spot on - my point was though how the hell did they get a NewsNow affiliation? Supposedly scarcer than rocking horse shit. I've seen a load more shite crop up on there since some newspapers have managed to block their content from being listed on there. I'm pretty sure there's no News International stuff on there anymore.
  16. Just playing Celtic, in the CL, in my thrid season. Never guess who they've got up top. Owen and Martins.
  17. Athletico already 1-0 at Sporting, Aguero.
  18. So Bombadil made it over for the match?
  19. Aye it's been a cracker Snakester. Good shout. Marin is a FM ledge on my current game. Seems ridiculously strong for a midget. Edit: 3-4 Villa hat-trick. Class.
  20. Yeah, it wasn't until I was reading back the stuff on here that I realized how twatful he was.
  21. I was only a bairn but I hated David Speedie when he played for Coventry, one of my mates was born there and worshipped the ground he walked on. Wasn't til I was older that I really how much of a total cunt he actually was.
  22. Salt Air - Chew Lips They were canny on Friday supporting Delphic at Digital.
