Was at Foo Fighters show last night in Edinburgh, good as per usual. They only played the one new song, which sounded pretty good live. They started with Everlong and finished with All My Life. So that made a nice change. Also only played two songs from their last album (Which was Pish). We got to sing happy birthday to their tour manager. Gus if you’re reading this, you could do with losing a few pounds! Dave promised us free chips but he lied. I’m positive last time her offered free beer and again it was lie. NIN - I'm not really a fan, but the sounded all right. Only caught the last 3 songs of the first support, silver something pick ups. Pish. Fairly tired today after the drive home (I was not driving but you got to stay awake for the driver like), but it’s nearly lunch time! Was going to go the Scotland match tonight but don't think I would manage to stay awake so watching Smith and Owen tonight in the comfort of my comfy chair should do the trick. Then see if I can stay up for heroes at ten! Oh and got to pick up a card for my mums birthday....

That's a great thing. I really hate when bands have an obvious pre-planned encore. 'What's that? We haven't played our most popular songs yet? Silly us, we better get back on stage.' If it is a genuine encore where a band comes out and repeats some songs or plays some unknown stuff or whatever that's good but I don't think I've seen a band do that. Once, I went to see a band who would've had to go through the audience to get to their dressing room and again to get back on stage so they just stayed on stage and said 'Right, pretend we've been off stage and you've cheered wildly and now we're back for our encore'. It was silly. The Lost Prophets don't do encores.
