But if we're after Baines, this could be fine and dandy three center halves, two full backs, plus Taylor and the squad players we already have is not a bad start to the transfer window... this is before Ashley announces exactly how much money Allardyce can spend. say we have to pay £5m for Baines, that's still a back four, a midfielder and a striker for around £20m which is our normal yearly expenditure anyway.
