Complete over-reaction. Really? Please tell me what makes you think that we will start winning games soon. As in nearly every game this season we created no real goal scoring opportunity and without the lucky penalty we wouldn't have scored at all. Douglas Hall said that we would have got relegated if he had stuck with Bobby Robson. But in those games back then we were unlucky. There was no hard luck involved today at all. We were just shite. Good post Isegrim very good post although we do have more than three good players, they say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link we have a few weak links i.e. bramble, Car and now possibly roeder too for not sorting the defence.

Hargreaves had a run of games and in the last few he has been admittedly outstanding in his last few (has had a few games more than parker has to prove himself and has only just become good lately), parker for me though is better. Give him a run of games in a decent set up and he'll shine just as much or better imo I woulden't swap parker for hargreaves for the toon!

Bernard was a very good player for us when he was here and it was very strange the way he left. Very consistant and good at getting forward, crossing and even scoring the odd cracking goal.Tough little bugger too i remember him being on the end of a few horror tackles that i wasn't sure he'd get up from but he always did. I hope he comes back the same or better then LB isn't as big a priority!

Ginola was the better player no doubts imo. Ginola was actually far worse than Robert at tracking back (who was no worse than Nobby imo) but he beat peple for fun and was so good that often the only way to win the ball of him was to foul him. I'd remember countless times, Ginola geting the ball, beating 2-3 players and then puting a pin point cross over for Sir Les to bullet header in the back of the net or go solo and score a screamer. Robert i liked alot too, very much a flare player and got alot of unwarranted stick (some people almost expected him to win us every match on his own).

Never seen him have a bad game for england and i rate him. Who would you have ?

Most of us (with any sense) would have Beckham in the side but there's no way McClaren will admit he's made a mistake and recall him, as it'd hurt is ego. Bramble out! He's hd a long time now to prove himself and he has proved a liability, i've never known a player to cost us so mant points, he's been holding us back for too long. Transfer list him in Jan and take the highest offer or just give him away, i preffer Boumsong to him and that says it all..
