Emre s an awesome player, MOM again imo yeserday and i can't understand his critics at all. Other than Given whom i assume is injured, the team should remain the same for liverpool, i'd have taylor on the bench, not sure why he wasn't yesterday?

Roeder 7 Think he got the tactics right but needs to sort out the mess at the back we call a defence, Bramble has to be dropped as even some of their players (very poor standard) got past him with ease at least twice, only poor finishing saved him, the man is a complete liability Moore Taylor or Ramage to fill the Two CB spots. Moore and Ramage looked decent to me last night. Picking Bramble is asking to get beat.

yes its makes depressing reading We have to make the most out of it till Jan it looks like Best 4 = Baba Moore Taylor Ramage (imo) Back up Bernard Bramble Huntingdon Car Bramble and Car are really poor and very easilly beat, hopefully bernard can get back to a decent level and i have no idea about Huntingdon at all. Moore and Taylor are our best hope imo. Taylor looks like he could be special but needs guidance and that has to be moore imo, as Bramble just makes everyone a bag of nerves, Baba is nothing special but a decent LB and Ramage (i know many probably disagree with me) i actually feel sorry for as he could be a decent center back imo !

I'd take a scrappy 1-0 to us right now as a win is a win, but think we will win comfortably 2-0 ! We as a team have alot to prove as do some individual players. i.e. Milner, Butt, Taylor, Ramage.

Maybe your right as Babayaro, Parker, Taylor and Ameobi are apparently having fitness tests before the game. Bernard maybe? He's not very fit though yet. Zoggy ? Is Huntington any good? Maybe try out Siberiski instead of Shola too?

I see where our coming from and i totally agree he is one of our best players. My thinking in leaving him on the bench for this one is the same as Parker being on the bench i.e. Glenn has stated he doesn't want to over play Zoggy so i'd preffer to play Zoggy at the weekend given the choice and bring him on if/when we need him in this game. Maybe start him and rest Emre?

I'm thinking we can't take this too likely but some players should be tried out i.e. milner and its a good chance for Taylor too to form a CB parnership with Moore (shambles isn't up to it). Parker maybe should be rested imo as god forbid he was injured. Don't play him unless we absolutely have to, as Moore and taylor should 100% be first choice Ramage after them (ok he's certainly no LB) and try and get something (anything) for him in Jan if not just give him away. i'll give you the Rossi one, yes my mistake, he should be in before Pattisson. But Shambles should clearly not be allowed to carry on inflicting this sort of damage on us and imo is far more to blame than Ramage who is no clearly no Left Back! Nobby has been very very poor this season, has no pace, weak in the tackle offers very little when he has no space and the opposition can easily keep him in their pockets if they keep tight to him. ~He's finished in my view. Duff and Milner should be played ahead of him in the right Wing role and as much as i like |Nobby as a person he should be sold come January. With Shola looking so fragile at the moment due to his hip, we need an reserve 'Big Man Striker', Siberiski deserves the chance to prove his doubters wrong imo and can certainly do no worse than Nobby has so far.

Way to piss on his chips there gol 187699[/snapback] He's right of couse though, personally i think we are more desperate for someone decent at the back, but however if we did get another striker which in fairness we could do with too, it should be a big man striker to hold things up (Baptista springs to mind as ideal), we have many many players who can play the smaller quicker guy i.e. martins, Duff, Emre, Milner, zoggy etc and heaven forbid maybe perma crocks Dyer and Owen may play a couple of games for us each this season if we are really really lucky. Spurs want shed loads for him too. Decent player Defoe but he's not the type we are looking for as we are desperate in other positions.

You may well be right considering our injury record! We need to drop fuck ups Car and Shambles imo and if we managed to sign only a decent RB with alot of luck on the injury front we may be able to hang on shuffling things around when needs be till Jan. Alot of IF's and BUT's though i know.

If we had the choice to strengthen one position where would it be? Got to be one of the Fullbacks for me and imo Right back worries me the most as Car is pants and he and Shambles will cost us all season imo, then Ramage could be tried out in the CB slot next to Moore or Taylor. we'd still be mega short having only one recognised LB mind you squad then: Krul Harper Given Shambles Car Ramage Huntingdon ???? I don't think Midfield is a key area we need strengthening especially when you consider the other area's where we are desperate i.e. LB RB CB and up front. But 2m is a good price so if we can get him we should.

i'm going for an optomistic 6th! Chelski man u liverpool arsenal and spurs to be above us we'll be close to villa in 6th -7th and thats ok this season aim for 4th though
