disgracefull comment tbh!! Parker didn't have a great game yesterday and went off injured, very good player who gives us everything he's got and then some most of the time and imo our joint best player with Given atm!!

Luque with a superb chance in the first minute ..missed!! Luque seeing alot of the ball but looking a bit rusty. Butt looking a bit suspect. SHYIT 0-1 to celta. Luque looking very feeble up top, needs to get his act together. martins on at half time unless he bucks his idea's up. Shambles nearly scores horendous own goal !!

Not a bad line up for us considering who's out, not very much pace up top but from what i've seen good finishers and matins and parker on the bench if we need to liven things up! Luque can drop back into the midfield if needs be for the ball, big game for him tonight, could be make or break for him. Not a Luque fan but really hope he finally comes good tonight.

I'm by no means a fan of Ramage, but when playing in the centre, I think he's a good as Taylor. Of course some people on here will claim that Taylor is the new John Terry.... Not exactly a commendation is it? Ramage has played 2 premiership games at centre half by my reckoning and been shite in both. Taylor is equally poor and he can fuck off as well Taylor and Ramage have been and will continue to be class as center backs! We just need some decent back up for them and some decent fullbacks now. Out of interest, are you a WUM or just a mong? If your talking to me i'm someone with a different view to you. Don't think that makes me either a WUM or a mong. Taylor and Ramage have done well when played together as CB's, we haven't lost when they have played together there! Give them a chance and they will get even better imo Not the finished article yet but looks very promsing imo more patience required!!

Sorry if it seemed that i came over a bit strong before, although i just coulden't disagree more it was meany to be tongue in cheek and i was just having a laugh with you. Even teams with the very best CB's concede goals sometimes and even the very best CB's make the odd mistake or two ad have off days etc etc. Ramage isn't a LB and hasn't been good at times playing out of position (which is a credit to him as other pre-madona's would point blank refuse to play there) but in his normal CB role he hasn't had a bad game this season! Alongside Taylor (who has made a few errors but i'd still stick with) he has looked the better of the two this year anyone can look a bit nervous next to Shambles because he gives alot of us nightmares when he is anywhere near the ball, his distribution is awful as is his decision making, sometimes when he hasn't cost us the game people go over the top in there praise for Shambles even though he may have been lucky his mistakes went unpunished that day. We've given him way to long now and he's not the joke of the premiership without good reason.

Genius, we're short of defenders so you get rid of three. We need three in without losing although we could get rid of Carr and bring my gran into the squad instead. I'm gettin rid of two incredibly Shite ones who should never ever play for us because they are no where near good enough!! Moore has always said he wants to finish his career is Aus and wants to go, otherwise i'd keep him as a back up squad player. AND bringing in 4 good defenders to replace the two shit ones and one want away, how can that be bad !?

Know what youre saying but Bramble had the kind of game that Ramage will never have on Saturday. Titus gets stick and rightly so but he has way more ability than either of the 'Geordie Boys'. He drops too many clangers, of course, but I cant see where Ramage has shown he is a better centre back than Titus. What a load of Bollocks, are you pair both pissed or just stupid or Mackems?? Shambles at CB ??? NO FUCKING WAY IT WOULD BE A DISASTER!!! Ramage is a good CB, he's not a LB but its a credit to the lad that because we haven't got any fit LB's he steps up to the mark and plays out of position busting a gut for our cause glad to just be in the team its not ideal but its unfortunately our best option!! At CB both Ramage and Taylor are far better than Shambles, they are quicker as tall or taller and certainly less accident prone and have better concentration. Shambles should have been booted out a long, long time ago, as i've never known a player to cost us so many points/games and he is the major reason our defence is so nervously crap at times he damages the confidence of our team!! Don't know why the Geordie lads are getting stick they are a credit to our club and we need to play them regularly at CB as they are our best option.

Apparently out:Moore, Baba, Bernard, Duff, Car and (Rossi ineligible) I don't think for one minute that Glenn will not play shambles, but i woulden't, even though he's not quite as bad in Europe as he is in the Premiership and i guess thats how most on here probably feel too, but Huntingdon needs to start sooner rather than later imo and this game is certainly not a must win (although it would be very nice to), this should be the game we try him out imo. Possibly Luque too (depending on his desire levels)? If Luque is as keen on return as we are to return him he could make himself more attractive proposition by having a blinder against spanish outfit Celta. Its not through lack of effort that Martins hasn't done the business for us yet, as he runs his socks off, fights and gets in some good positions (unlike others i could mention). Things will get better for him i'm sure he just needs some luck to restore his confidence and then he could be on a roll. Although disapointing so far I'm much more hopefull of him than i am of other players and we need to stick with him in order for him to come good.

They seem to link up well so ideally we'd have both playing, but sadly its not to be.

Emre being out is a big blow imo Car and parker are iffy too. Witnessing Arsenals demolition of Liverpool was quite scary so we need a 5 man midfield imo hit them with pace when we can but truy and dominate in the middle of the park. Ramage and taylor are our best two CB's imo Moore is third. Shambles should be behind huntingdon (whom i have never seen play) as he can't possibly be any worse. Moore is decent enough just a bit slow really. he'll go in the summer and we need a RB a CB (shambles and moore to go) and a 'Big Man' striker.

Hilarious. "We might just as well cripple him completely if he's going to have the operation." And what are the odds on Dyer not playing for another couple of weeks, despite Roeder saying he is fit? Well the flag pole injury was another classic, hope he's truly back now but fully expect him to be injured within his next two games and more likely than not it will be the first. Everyone was mystified why he didn't have the operation in the summer, i still am. Incompetence? Yes probably.

The strange thing is that he was on the bench for the Palermo game so he must have been considered somewhat fit enough to play if needed, but he was not on the bench for the Sheffield or Watford games. VERY STRANGE. Agreed! To be named as sub you would think he'd be at least very nearly 100% fit at least. All very strange the way he left the 1st time too. You get to name 7 subs in europe and we were very stretched for the Palermo game, whereas with sheffield and watford we had more in contenton and 5 subs.

Personally if the above is the case i'd start with martins and Dyer? however Luque in the role behind either martins or dyer would be plan B. If The Sib is out then we are even more deserate or a 'big man' striker.

Heard that Rossi could have been injured last night and was taken off and The Sib went off clutching his hamstring. If those two are injured we could be in the shit with strikers.
