  1. not sure if id prefer sticking with the likes of owen , or getting rid of anything on over 50k a week and starting again .
  2. how the fuck would faye and oba know , cos there african ?
  3. throwing out alot of 'dont sell me' interviews lately geremi , bit like duff's before he put his house on the market .
  4. fishing for a new contract at a bad time beye mate , only natural he'd wanna secure his last footballing years on a decent wage like ! he can buy out his contract now , new rule means its best to tie these players down for 4 year , even at this ripe old age .
  5. cant see the sense in him taking drogba to inter , zlatan is better than drogba for me anyway , and adriano is back to something of his old form .
  6. may aswell hire half of us then ehh .
  7. God knows what the guy was meant todo , you dont see many teams perform like that after a manager change a few weeks into the season , regardless of how good the players are its not possible for them to carry the team as far as they went this season . i kinda liked the guy aswell .
  8. trust the sun to sensationalize a complete non story .
  9. The money was spent before Ashley bought the club. I don't know on what, though - maybe pies ?? were still due abit of it in i think, which then go's straight out the door to real madrid for owen .
  10. thats the thing with the likes of duff and emre , knowing our luck we'd flog them only to see them playing some good football again . im starting to think we are the agents choice of club atm for baiting other teams to come in for their players .
  11. well i did explain everything i meant , and even threw a few quote in there for you to get your head around , you left me feeling rather pissed off yesterday . it was like arguing with a woman . relentless with no substance .
  12. i think he will get more consistent tbh , he's played far to many games these past few season , and the only thing the lad lacks for me is that final ball . Isn't the fastest either tbf but the lad is only 22 and has already been one of if not the player of the season for two midtable premiership clubs. Works his arse off and is versatile, also doesn't hide against the big clubs. yeah he is shy of pace like , but he seems tobe able to still beat his man , unlike an irish winger we still have on the books . if were not going to keep hold of these youngsters then id rather not play them tbh , i mean you take there mistakes into consideration like they are going to improve , but if we flog them all were are doing is letting the buying team use us as experience for them .

  16. 5mill is a bit of a kick in the nuts for a lad his age with some much prem experience under his belt . i wouldnt like to see him go , i reckon there is more to come from milner . there is no point giving these youngsters games if we are going to flog them before they are playing there best football.
  17. The first rule is never defend yourself Hadrian. Just attack. The second rule is to do a brief spelling and grammar check. back to the insults again i see , who's meant tobe the 'bell end' here again ? You since you've just approved of football hooliganism because you don't like manchester i didnt approve it cos i dont like manchester , i approved it cos they all missed the match , valid reasons for a riot if you ask me .

    Oh My!

hey thats all im doing , just like everyone . all i was saying is that the story has changed since it was first put out there , it was 70/80 mill debt and that he'd spent 20+ million on players and wages in smith viduka ect so he'd forked out 100mill ontop of the price of the club, they also failed to put down the cash we got back in from player sales which i remember was a bit of a talking point . now the story is he spent 134 on the club and a further 100mill , that every paper has down as debt , and even mort seems tobe running with it . you have to admit it's been shoved in our face's lately as a reason we wont do a 'leeds' . now spending cash before you recive it is general business practice , who benefits from clearing that debt ? when some of it didnt even have interest payments on it . our debt was roughly the same size as our income , man u's is 4 times what they bring in per year .

    Oh My!

its not just me is it ? theres a nice mort quote in here for you saying the same aswell . yes any money owed is 'debt' , what i said is the debt on this club is not in the sense as me or you would first assume , the 'debt' for players is like an interest free mortgage with the equity out on the pitch . some of it could even be down as expenses for future seasons , alot of it will balance over the space of a few year .

    Oh My!

yeah they did, that's what mort's refering to , and like i said in last weeks have a go at hadrian thread , its not actually debt in the sense me and you know it , the rest of the transfer fee for owen and martins is in with that 'debt' they are talking about , some of which isnt due for 3 year . i really cbh trawling thru the net shoving every article in people face's Firstly, no they didn't do due diligence, that is widely accepted. Secondly, they owe money to other clubs for transfers, they owe them money, how exactly is that not debt? and no alex. How is that quote relevant to anything I've said? the northern rock money is due to go out on owens tranfer the day it comes in .
