The Smoking Room is alright, has it's moments but not must see. I hated the first series of The Mighty Boosh, but I gave the second series a chance and it's been very funny. The best comedy on TV at the minute is Arrested Development, which is on BBC4 and BBC2 at random un-godly hours. Well worth staying up for though.

Totally agree with you. I liked the Libertines despite Doherty and Oasis depsite Gallagher. Babyshambles however are indeed shite, it just sounds like a junkies rant. I love Morrisseys stuff, but sometimes he acts like a twat, watching him act the tit at Glastonbury was especially painful.

Aye, The Streets is piss poor, as is Pete Doherty since he left the Libertines. Two artists living off hype basically. Sheep bands as I like to call them. Oasis are the prime example of a Sheep band. Now, I liked Oasis. I liked the music but have to admit to hating the attitude. However, they went from being biggish to massive because of the hype and people liking their attitude, you just got that feeling that a lot of people bought their albums without actually really liking the music. The cool culture, liking a band or artist cos it's 'in'. Just a theory anyway. Personally, I don't get most modern hip hop, they look and sound like clones of each other, and I'm going to be controversial here...I've never got Pink Floyd. HOWEVER, they just seem to have passed me by rather than me disliking them. My Mrs is into them so I appreciate they're not a bad band, it just does nowt for me.
