We won't get relegated, although our form over nearly the last 30 games says we will. The funny thing is, a few of the people you're arguing with (me included) over Souness were those asking for calm last season and during the summer and to give Souness time. We've got rid of too many players without bringing anywhere near enough in, and we're somehow playing worse. Parker was the only new signing involved in the last two games, that's down to Shephard and Souness between them, and it doesn't really bode well when we've got less than a week to add to that. He asked Shearer to stay on yet he plays a system (no wingers) that means he's neither use nor ornament up there. We needed wholesale changes to this team, and it hasn't happened and after 3 games it shows. Even you must see that?

It's the draw against the European chasing ten men of West Ham that's got me this optimistic.
