  1. Cisse really looks a complete different player from 12 months ago, some of the chances he's missed in recent games is beyond a joke (not that one in particular) On comes Ben Arfa
  2. cabaye looks knackered or fucked, one of the two, he's making no effort whatsoever to close down / get back once we've gotten forward.
  3. Cisse needs to take a few finsihing lessons from Remy and drink whatever tea he has before a game. Looks so calm in front of goal. Cisse needs to bag a goal in this game, there's gunna be chances in the ssecond half if Cardiff look to come out at us
  4. Caught this on Tuesday, agree they were great!
  5. Its one of them tricky situations in the handling of Ben Arfa, We all know his strength is going forwards and not backwards, and there lies the problem. If his A game isn't on display attacking, he offers very little to the team. He clicks going forward (i.e. Villa) and his morale goes up and he starts to fight for every ball and track back (very loosely!). If Pard keeps him in and tells him to show what he can do both with and without the ball, him knowing fine well his performance against Everton won't be tollerated any longer. Do this and it pays off, happy as larry. He doesn't perform going forwards Relegate him to the bench and he becomes a sulky frenchman, and it could strat to bring down the moral of our team. Personally, and i'm sure many others have said the same thing, he's the one player we need to build around. Pardew should be accommodating for this in the team and the team should and be prepared before hand to set up defensively for such a scenario. FFS Pardew by now must know the sort of player he is from training every day, so unless he's seeing something completely different during the week we should be working on setup that allows for his style of play in our team.
  6. an on-form Robben is frightening! the way he runs at defenders, taking so many quick touches, really makes it impossible to understand which direction he's going to run at you in. Oh and CIty's defending for the 2nd goal, Newcastle-esque!
  7. Listened to the last one today. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of this, can't believe I haven't heard any of them before. Really think I might go back and listen to them all at least for season 4 / 5. Loved hearing about his old scripts / original concepts for plots. Makes me want to buy the box set to see all the extra's, its gotta be filled with some great stuff for such an amazing series
  8. Alan P can't really use any of those lines tbf.
  9. Has to be more than an injury, Pardew looking for the boot! Obertan in?!?! Surely Pardew must realise he's either a cup player or an impact sub at best - I honestly can't remember a game he's started where I've thought he had potential for 90 minutes. Last 15 maybe, but even that has been few and far between. I'd much rather see Sameobi start if he is dropping Barfa through performance / injury, far more deserving of a Premier League start IMO.
  10. Just caught his goal and assist. Having a player in your team like that must raise everyone's game. Unbelievable talent, why Real Madrid got rid is beyond me, you can see why Ronaldo was peeved about it.
  11. I watched the second half of the Celtic game. I don't care that they were playing Barcelona, plonking 11 men behind the ball on the 18 yd line every time you lose it destroys any game, fucking loved it when Barcelona scored. You're at home FFS, show some ambition.
  12. Hope so, I remember him praising Anita a while back but not sure if he's said anything leading up to this game.
  13. I can see Tiote being brought into Midfield in replace of Anita - Pardew will do it to to add strength to the centre of the park. Its a shame as Anita has been putting in the performances and the only way he's going to get used to the physicality of the league is by regular game time. Personally I would be dropping Cisse for this regardless of his goal against Leeds. He missed some sitters in that game and I'd rather see Gouff start up top tonight
  14. I think he chucks the shirt in for free if you buy the photo.
  15. definite photoshop job, the two people are shot at different perspectives, and like you say the way the guy in the red top has been cut out of its original pic, the feathering on the edge is a pretty shoddy job.
  16. http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/gif-nuts-shinji-kagawa-owns-steven-gerrard-with-awesome-nutmges-man-united-v-liverpool/ love seeing Gerrard made a foot.
  17. Everton away is always a tough game for us, and Goodson park always seems like a home banker for an evening kick off. Hopefully we can pick ourselves up and the players want to prove themselves again after the Hull shambles and put in a decent performance

    Dexter

Such an underwhelming ending, the trailer for the finale built it up to be action packed, I thought there was going to be a big showdown at the airport, with Saxon. the way both storylines ended (Saxons arrest -wtf! utterly lazy writing) was terrible, but Debra's topped the lot. Debra's character has been the best thing in the show series after series, and it was such a poor way to write her ending into it, she's fine one minute (even the doc said so), whoops she a gonna the next. No final scene with Quinn, something they've been playing on forever, no Quinn taking his rage out, no nothing, just done. And the whole time Dexter just strolled from scene to scene in his boring way. Fuckin ay!
  19. I like your final scene but I'd cut it about 3 seconds sooner, just lights the ciggerette and it ends, never quite knowing if the ricin was in it or not. I'm curious about how he might get the money to his family, having failed with Walt junior in the last episode,
  20. If someone visits this topic with one week to go its surely to talk about the final episode - surely a spoiler is more to talk about leaked info and anything certain at this point, and less so for discussion and general excitement now That's my opinion anyhow, but if people want to keep using them I'll do it
  21. I don't think he'll go after Lydia, but the only reason I could see this working in a storyline is if he was angry that his 'product' is back on the market (i.e. purity and colour) as was mentioned in the TV clip at the bar. I'm sure Walt will be too busy taking care of some nazi punk ass and Lydia will fall under Jesse's revenge umbrella through wrong place / wrong time when he escapes or something similar. I hope Jesse cooks up a meth bomb from series 1 when We first truly seen Walt's alter ego taking over in Tuco's office
  22. I really don't see the grey matter people been back in it next episode. I may be wrong, but I thought that was used in the episode to make him realise he was loosing everything he worked hard for (again), and as a kind of a tongue in cheek stab at the couple showing how Walt's newly found public fame has caused their reputation to falter. There's far too much still to resolve in one episode and I would much rather see what happens with the larger main characters than revisit this, as much of catalyst to the beginning of the story it was.
