  1. great header from Cisse, think the keeper had it if it was any lower though but good contact
  2. we dont look terrible here by any stetch, just panicky once we get outside their box . This game is definitely going to open up in the last 20 minutes or so. Ben Arfa is growing more and more into the game.
  3. The way I seen it Jarvis had the beating of Debuchy all game, and white I do think that Debuchy has the capability to be a great defender, but he just hasn't looked at the races so far. Ausman, where'd you get the info about Krul - injury? I'd really like to see Sammy giving a start, especially as his confidence wlll be on a high following his goal mid-week. I do fear for players like him though, who can come on and show a burst of pace and give life to an attack, but when they play 90 mins they are ineffective. hopefully Sammy can show Marvauex how it's done!
  4. Jarvis had the beating of him all afternoon, Debuchy looked scared to even attempt a tackle towards the end in fear he would be turned inside out again. Jarvis FFS.
  5. A month / two weeks, close enough. We're still signing nobody
  6. Cabaye trained with the squad today. Hopefully this puts his bum-cum Debuchy in a better mood and he can start performing
  7. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-pardew-heaps-praise-mathieu-5816300?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter what utter dross. If we had resonable back up i'd be dropping him for the game at the weekend - he's been terrible that first two PL games, turned inside out all game and making the same mistake time and time again, being sold by the winger and beating to the byline to put in a cross.
  8. So if he wins he stays, looses he's out? What happens next week at Villa, same ultimatum? I don't any manager should be sacked so early into a season, if they are then surely their board should have done something earlier in the summer (let's forget who we have for a second). For what it's worth I don't see us loosing, more likely a 0-0 or 1-1 tense draw.
  9. Group B should be entertaining, and I'm looking forward to seeing Bayern Munich spank Man City. Aresenal not to reach the knock out stages.
  10. on le bench against Fulham. Hopefully we're a couple of goals up and he can come on to have a bit of fun with the ball and get used to not playing at the shithole that is Loftus Rd. More likely we'll be a goal down and he'll brought on with 7 minutes to go and expected to produce wonders.
  11. This leaves us up shit creek without a whatjamacallit. If he refuses to play again, we've either got to take a lower offer as clubs know its really in a pickle between cluba nd player, or we've got a grumpy sod in the dressing rook until Jan At least it show Alan finally taking a stance / saying something about the whole situation.
  12. Personally I wouldn't initially. At first i thought I would want a few gutsy 'come on as a sub for the last 20 minutes away from home' where he plays his heart out without the fans at SJP on his back, showing some of the form he had a couple of seasons ago. But then this would only spur him on to be sold in January. It's obvious to everyone he wants to move on, and I worry not selling him now will only make him sulk like most modern footballers, and I reckon he holds a lot of power with the french in our dressing room. Get rid.
  13. think i'm gunna buy myself a pair of the Nike Flynit's to get me inspired to run some more
  14. I would much rather give him a consistsnt run in the team to try and build a better understansing with / learn on the job with Colo. while I think Taylor will be Colo's main partner this season, he shouldn't be allowed to walk straight back in after Fulham, he needs to understand he can't put the team in such stupid positions time and time again and no learn anything from it
  15. Saving Obertan for the weekend.
  16. And we won't be in for Ba, he would see it as a major step back to return here now I would think. Heard rumours he's off to Roma.
  17. Shane Long always looks a threat when he plays against us, and he's only 25 (?) so fits out buying policy. This would be a good signing, although if it's our only one then its not what I think we're craving, as I don't see him as a player who can hold the ball up for the likes of Cisse. Doesn't he have a track record of being injured?
  18. decimal place error, needs moving one digit to the right
  19. When is Remy's trial? Presumably we're going to get him back then will he be able to continue to play trough the duration of it?
  20. I think had Cabab played against Man City, still with everyone knowing he wanted to leave, you could see fans giving him good applause still. But now, were he to start against Fulham, I wouldn't like to be in that position. Whether he said he didn't want to play in the last two games or not, he'll be in for a torrid 90 minutes were Pardew to select him.
  21. great read. Had to go back and watch the start of the pilot to watch Walt's first confession again. It's amazing to see one man changed so much throughout the show. Incredible writing and acting.
  22. I think the club shot themselves in the foot with the sales of the home kit with the late release date. Potentially this increases the away kit sales, which is presumably what they were after, but to release the kit after a shocker of a pre-season and then the loss to Man City, topped with the great transfer window we're having, immediate sales were never going to be good. But have no fear, our blind support will soon be snapping them up and parading them around town as a walking billboard for Wonga.
