The fact that a home game to Fulham is one that we're relying on to help us stay up is bringing me an awful, awful feeling of deja vu. If we don't get a win this weekend (and that's definitely not a given), I'll be feeling nervous. It's all because of that fucking Wigan game!

Not to mention slave labour.

With the likes of Levante, Benfica, Spurs, Fenerbahce, Chelsea, Bordeaux ... and Anzhi still left in the comp, a lot will depend on who we are drawn with and who knocks the other big boys out. But the squad and Pards seem really up for it, so we'll see.

Really hope this is the case. There was that interview Hatem did a couple of weeks ago (before Reading?) where he said he's happy but wanted the club to show ambition. Otherwise his head would be turned. Hopefully the last couple of weeks or so will have impressed him.

Just had a brief look at a couple of Villa forums about the match. What one Villa poster said applies equally to us: If we win, it could be the start of something ... if we lose it's the last nail in the coffin. Mind you, I thought the same about the Reading match.
