Last season in fairness. He's not the only one though. If you mean under Roeder then he has played well for him already then. If the change was after the arrival of Duff then the lad is a prick. He was not exactly a game winner (it is possible to be at that age, just look at Man U) so why shouldnt the squad strengthen in midfield in his area? He has also stated that he prefers to play more centrally. He has no right at that age to be put out by the arrival of a player that will compete for his place.

When was his last good game?

Shouldn't N'Zogbia be fighting for his place though? He's been crap this year tbf. He's been kept out of the team by a bloke that shouldn't have been getting a game - pretty demoralising I imagine. Then when he's finally fit and the other bloke gets injured, we rejig the team so that he still doesn't get a game. I don't really buy that, competition should make him more determined. Maybe he hasn't warranted his place; difficult to believe, I know, considering the opposition. In the ideal case yes. But not every player responds to this kind of "motivation" in the same way. I think the fact that Roeder rather plays right footed players in this position would piss me off big time as well. And unhappy players rarely perform. Then he shouldnt be playing sport for a living. Simple as that. If a sportsman doesnt respond to competition then they should be booted out of the sport. Get rid. Nonsense. There have been loads of players who liked to throw a tantrum when they are not treated like prima donnas. I'm not saying that N'Zogbia is in the league of Romario or Klinsmann for example, but to say those kind of players should not be playing sport for a living is hilarious. You have to deal with them as they are - good managers are able to. Those players 'demonstrated' why they should be in the team when they were on the pitch. Massive difference here. Both of those players had fierce competitive spirits too, so not sure wtf you are on about. Maybe my point about him needing a competitive nature needs re-iterating.

It doesn't work like that, loads of players regardless of their talent would have got the hump the way N'Zogbia appears to have done with the treatment he's had. There's definitely been favouritism shown towards Duff for example which is understandable but not right. Signing Duff in the first place was less understandable. To turn things round, N'Zogbia could have been performing better than Duff in training etc. earlier in the season but still not getting a look-in. Either way, one of the main things about being a good manager is knowing how to deal with different personalities. The point being he has to fight for his place. If its not in his nature to fight for his place then my point stands. As for his treatment, he is young and not that good. You'd think we had Romario on our hands.

Sell him to Arsenal and buy Barnes from Derby.

Im just confused on what match he watched? I dont wont slug boy at the club anymore becuase he is fucking clueless, now if we had won I would have still thought that! We were in control of the game for 51 minutes. I think HF's point is that people slagging the whole perfomance are blinkered. This is a side that could quite easily finish 5th and we were away from home. 51minutes? Is that including half time? We were out done on the night and thats the end of the situation In your opinion and i consider that post a 'non-post'. Its one of those posts where people just say the opposite of what you have and expect it to be considered debate. Their goal was their first shot on target, on 51 minutes. We had a lot of opportunities in that period therefore we were in control of the game. Now you try. Come on man, we didn't have that many opportunities, did we? We played some nice stuff from the off but it gradually got worse and by the end it was dire. We can't score, that's a fact. Were you seriously happy with yesterday's performance? For 51 minutes, yes. Then they had a decent 10 mins then Zog came on for emre and we lost it completely. Well I was reasonably happy until they scored too but it's the performance over 90 minutes that counts. Same here, i wasnt delirious but just that, thought we were in control. I thought we deserved a point out of the game.

Who could finish 5th quite easily. Watford at home then Blackburn away. Everton have Portsmouth and Chelsea and Bolton have West Ham away then Villa.

FYP ...but to a far greater degree than they did us for any period in the remainder of the game. They got a lucky goal after a howler from Dyer, then had a a good 10 minutes. Nothing else.

Says hes off in a few weeks.

What attacking coach? Our coaching team consists of two ex-defenders and two ex-midfielders. Keiron Dyer is shit. I know some of the others are not too good but to hear the pundits go on about how good Dyer is, is a fucking joke. Cost us the goal and nearly cost us a second one. Blame lies here.

Bollocks. so you're saying that all of the shit games we played this season were because Owen wasn't on the pitch showing the others how to play? No. I was referring to two occassions last night where Owen was pointing to where the ball should have been played. Not sure how you made that jump. You've got to wonder what the coaching team are doing then if it's taking Owen on the pitch to tell the players what to do... Their defensive coach > our attacking coach. Owen knew what to do. When Milner was floating in crosses from the right, with his right, Owen was pointing to a short flatter ball inside the box towards the near post which would have allowed him to spring the trap with some ease. No one else saw it though.

We faded badly in the second half, you can't solely blame Dyer for the lack lustre performance of the other 10 players in that half. Unfair, i know but i'm going to anyway
-
Totally agree with Happy Face about the football (wankers is a bit harsh). Thought we were the better side, we looked very good in the first half. The problem in the second was Dyer. The little tit. Owen knew how to beat their offside trap and twice showed Milner where to put it and he ended up hitting it long. Few more games together and things would have been different.

The Fat Fuck? Would certainly speak to the target demographic.

No, just half decent food, nothing gastro. Something like the Shiremoor farm in fact, or that pub in Stannington. Easier said than done when the prices have to compete. I think there is a gap in the market for somewhere like that in NT. Decent, well cooked, well sourced food shouldnt be a luxury imo.

I would like to claim responsibilty for starting the phrase ' kick her in the clout.' Its the only fair sort of retribution you can give to a cheating lady. Try Peter Cook and Dudley Moore about 40 years ago tbh.

Are you planning on a version of The Fat Duck?

Nor selling yourself (not in that way anyway ).
