I want that one...

Whats that? Looks like it says SPIV. Top brand name that. What?? Orange?? Aye, it is pretty well known! What with all this RoKr, Pebble etc shite that mobile companies come out with, the SPIV would actually be quite good. You would have to wear winkle-pickers and a crombie at the same time to complete the look though.

Photo of SJP from my mates place on Leazes Tce.

Having that in English on the side of the 43 would be hilarious though.

Aye. Is invicta taking the piss btw? I can never tell for sure. Yesterday's match was basically an abortion, painful to sit through, especially the second half. Of the two sides, Villa impressed more tbh and probably deserved at least a draw. We've had some flukey results recently when you consider our performances (this one and Spurs spring to mind), which is nice, but it can't last. We could have lost the last three league games no bother, but the decisions and luck went in our favour- not that I'm complaining about that. Judge O'Neill next season. At least he hasn't got 3 relegations on his CV. I couldn't give a fuck what Roeders done in the past, it's the future I'm bothered about. I reckon he's steadying a ship that was rocking like a bastard 18 months ago. Agreed. This MON and no budget angle is a bit stupid too since he started with Carew and Young.

I agree and i dont think its humanly possible for Roeder to do everything he needs to do. One thing not taken account of when looking at the club's activity in the market is human resource. We are short on it tbh. http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=8442 The problem is worsened imho by the fact that a couple of board positions are vacant, i.e. are filled by Fat Fred himself. The whole setup of the club is rather that of an amateur club than that of a club with one of the highest turnover in Europe. He is on a recruitment drive as we speak, i think next up is maybe the DoF job... http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...~974424,00.html Perfect for Vic tbh. What the fuck is all that about Its called a job advert.... sorry, always been in highly paid jobs never needed to apply to something that asks for 'smartcard' jibes Oooh get you Mr sense of humour failure. Were you headhunted out of primary school to work for NASA like Vic? no your mum stopped me on my way home and offered to fit me in wherever i liked (sorry for delay been having me tea) Worth the wait for that devastating response

Will there be another thread like this along in a minute?

We are short on it tbh. Couldn't agree more, I'm not a fan of Roeder but to expect him to do everything from managing the team to ringing around to enquire about players as well as his managerial degree is too much. We need someone to come in and take control of everything to do with the playing side of the club apart from first team training and selection, you look at the success other clubs have had with this method and it amazes me we haven't followed suit. I'm not a fan either, i admire his work though and his work ethic. He was doing that course over the last few weeks and organising signings. Does that mean Terry Mac and Lee Clark have been running training?

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

I reckon they were twatted when they made that film. -
you are assuming an awfull lot about the collective scum known as football agents you can have as many bids for as many players as you like out there, but as I've already said, what's the point if most aren't even considered well into the window as other things fall into place and the requirements of teams are truly known. So, if there are no players anymore who want to play for Newcastle or who will Newcastle get, what do you suggest? Suicide.
-
Still nothing to back up the claim he wanted to play here though other than it was on the side of Roeder's cereal box at breakfast or something according to some red top in the middle of the silly season. Argument nailed tbh.
-
Never heard Campbell express that or heard it reported like. I did hear he wasnt right in the head and that any sane person would not then move to Newcastle to resolve that one. Gemmill it was you who said that I never saw Le Tiss on SSN That footage exists in a place other than inside my head though Btw: I remembered from the Chronicle http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcast...-name_page.html That's my argument in tatters Says Roeder: "Sol is a fantastic talent and I am mystified why Arsenal have agreed that he should go." Is the only quote in that story

Even mad people have moments of clarity. [/vague]

Gemmill it was you who said that No no no, I constructed a Shepherd quote based on the claim, but the claim wasn't initially mine. Pity, it would have been the funniest thing you ever said! I can just picture the alledged meeting now. Not much room for a fly on the wall in that one. Freddy's back would be covering most of it.
