The architecture is astonishing (well, if you interested in this) and there are loads of decent places for good food and drink (Belgian beer). Have heard loads of lush stuff about it too. Am looking forward to it, hopefully it will all come together on the tickets.

Theres nothing endearing about Roy Keane whatsoever though is there. The revenge tackle on Alf Inge whatdoyoumecallit and the way he talked about it in his book warranted a bit more of a rebuke than he got.

Only that there's probably going to be about 900 available when they do go on sale. Is Greg applying for tickets? I will be training it all the way from here too if i can get hold of some.

Any news on tickets yet?

Go from airport to maion station and change i reckon.

Train to Ghent from Brussels Midi is about 40 mins according to a Belgian lad i work with. Brussels train station is also apparently on the other side of the city from the airport so if you fly in, you need to get across to the station. Should add an hour on journey plan for all the faffing about i reckon to get from airport to Midi. Then its really very simple i would have thought and every fucker in the station will speak english. http://www.raileurope.co.uk/ Hope that helps.

Really? I'll make a mental note of that. Niklas Eklund's rendition is available on iTunes. Have a listen on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Trumpet-Concertos-Fr...n/dp/B0000025QG The first 3 movements.

Haydn's trumpet concertos are great.

the shame eating away at you is it? See above. I've said all I'm going to about "shame" in this regard. revenge is a dish best served... ah fuck it, you're not worth it you're no gemmil tbh I'm not sure what you meant by that, so have no idea if it's insult or compliment. Compliment.

West Ham are desperate to stay up and are in a desperate situtaion. The Mekon must be bricking it having just bought the club. We are 10 points clear of danger atm so can understand not wanting to spend.

Rents is just pointing out that association does not mean causality. Anyway, the great paradox is that Rents is paid to be cynical about these things. He has a vested interest to rubbish it. Confused? I am.

Was getting constant abuse then after a particularly nasty insult the fan then sprayed him with beer.

No flys on you. A meringue? Some might say the answer was in the question, or at least directly below it. I honestly didnt see that.

No, you thought that buying a ticket was buying a share. I dont. By calling a fan a stakeholder you dont change the nature of what was exchanged in the market. All fans are stakeholders, even ones who stream the games off the net for nowt and contribute to forums but add no revenue to the club. Nonsense. I said nothing of the sort about shares and tickets. I said "You pay to watch the spectacle as a form of entertainment (sic). The exchange of cash for ticket entitles you to enter the ground and view the game. Nowt else. Wages are a contract between employer and employee and does not involve 'customers' tbqfh." You said you pay the players wages to counter that and to suggest that you are entitled to a voice within the club. Thats why we are talking about shares and tickets tbh. And stop googling to back your shite arguments up BTW do you have bad coffee breath and sweaty pits? Most teachers do tbh. Youre resorting to making this up Chez. I said that indirectly - note the use of the word throughout - we pay the players wages. It is an unwise economist that is quite so literal and I have grave doubts about your academic claims. As for googling? Hardly sunshine. The fact that you feel that is necessary when nothing has been noted beyond GCSE economics level tells its own story tbf. As for coffee breath and sweaty pits? Well the NUT make it compulsory and I have been with them since they gave me the best pencil case during my teacher training many moons ago! I made a point about buying a ticket entitling you to nothing more than entering the ground. You disagreed so i reiterated this disagreement for you. Simpleton. All you've then said is that you doubt i have any qualifications, denied spuriously googling and admitted you've got bad breath. Not the greatest comeback i've seen. I've said once what my credentials were. I accept you are a schoolteacher too. I dont doubt you are telling the truth. As you are unable to recall the evidence of this discussion I am afraid I seriously doubt yours. I have reiterated several times that in the literal sense then of course the fans dont pay the players wages. Without them, however, there is no market and hence no need for a wage. I am sure you can work the rest out. Its GCSE stuff man. Get a grip. You appear to have some evidence of this googling which is amusing when your performance here is more Peter Ramage than Peter Drucker WTF are you arguing about then? I said 'fans dont pay wages' (which you've just agreed with) and 'buying a ticket entitles you to a seat and nowt else' (which you have been unable to address as you know nothing of the exchange of property rights, via a price signal - WTP basically). I cant see where you have said anything intelligent in response to these two points. If ticket sales are falling and players wages are rising, how are the two connected directly? You are reducing the argument to a simplistic level saying that money out of the pockets of the fans ends up in the clubs coffers and these are used to pay the fans hence 'fans pay the players wages'. That statment is of such enormous retardedness for someone who teaches economics, you can only be taking the piss. Try responding to my points next time you post instead of shit attempts at comedy too.
