There was another plan to turn the pitch through 90 degrees, making the East and West Stands the goal ends. Not ideal, but it minimised the effect of the restrictions on the ground capacity.

The harridan who ran that, I forget her name, is probably dead or mental now- might be worth another pop at it? Also, I’m sure our new overlords have many more “methods” at their disposal to dispense with dissenters.

I’ve spent the last 24hrs coughing my lungs inside out- rang 111 to see about getting tested (mainly due to my wife’s key worker status), and following two telephone interviews with two different doctors, one doesn’t think I have it, one does. On their advice, we tried to arrange to get the entire family tested- Mrs. F, me and the 12 & 9 yr olds.… … Can’t arrange tests for under 18s online. Went on with the attempt, and the nearest testing centre available to us, in Forest Hall, North Tyneside is… any guesses?
