  1. I'll take Everton finishing above them and then losing the FA cup final. Woy leaving Gerrard out of the euros for the icing on the cake.
  2. And Lolerpool lose again.
  3. Thought his dad was a scouser? Thought I remembered hearing something about that when he was in charge of Liverpool but could well be wrong.
  4. Ugh, some mugs on twitter are actually having a go at Woy now for the apartheid thing. Jumping jesus. Must not read human opinions on the internet for a while...
  5. So the media are going to make Woy out to be a wacist now?
  6. Realizing that established footballers were born in the 90s.
  7. Some of Man City's best signings are the cheapest: Kompany 6.7 million, Hart 1.5 million, Richards, ok the list sort of stops there but still.
  8. Man U have spent a fucking fortune on their squad as well which annoys me when pundits trot out "just shows you can't always but the title" type shite. De Gea - 18.5 mil Jones - 17 mil Smalling - 10 mil Ferdinand - 30 mil Berbatov - 32 mil Carrick - 18 mil Young - 17 mil Valencia - 16 mil Nani - 13 mil Rooney - 27 mil Bebe - 8 mil etc etc not to mention the likes of Hargreaves (17 mil) and Tevez who've come and gone.
  9. Lescott for 22 million is far more ridiculous. Not to mention players they didn't even remotely need like Santa Cruz, Jo etc
  10. Oh dear: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=696380
  11. think he was rested for the last game and they decided to just stick with the team that mauled Wolves
  12. apparently Blackburn were in for Cisse, King Kean didn't rate him highly enough I suppose...
  13. Another upside of Woy getting the job is that he won't have any allegiances to the players as no one (apart from Foster if he comes out of retirement) from West Brom or his old Fulham squad will be getting called up. Managed Gerrard for about 5 minutes so that doesn't really count either in the same way that Harry may have favoured Spurs players had he got the job.
  14. They got him for something like 11 million I think. Could go either way that one. I think Wenger is sick of signing players who will fuck off in 5 minutes like Nasri so is going for more reliable/less exciting options. Bayern already had him and it didn't work out.
  15. Last night in the Portuguese premier league UD Leiria fielded a team of 9 players and no subs as the rest of the squad had just terminated their contracts after not being paid for 5 months or something like that. Had to play with 5 loanees two youth players and two guys that they were able to convince to stay. Lost 4-0 but avoided a points deduction by forfeiting the game boro style.
  16. That would be the logical answer but it won't happen imo. He should get rid of Terry altogether, not because he's a bad player but because he is more likely than not going to cause some sort of problem. Can't just drop him either has to be completely gotten rid of. Stevie G should be nowhere near the team based on recent performances and Lampard should probably be benched. I can easily imagine nothing changing though. (in reply to Johnny2J)
  17. I like Hodgson and I do think he's a good manager but the age old problem of egos and cuntish behavior in the England squad might be too much for him to handle. A lot of the players seemed to want Redknapp too so I can imagine some of them not respecting Hodgson in the same way.
  18. I hope you're right. Wigan have been amazing lately and Bolton have been decent too (in an incredibly unlucky season for them with injuries and muamba). Wolves, Blackburn and QPR deserve to go down largely down to a series of poor decisions in terms of managerment/signings etc.
  19. I doubt he'll ever get another managerial job after this one to be honest.
  20. Good lord Steve Kean's post match interview, what a fucking mong coming out with gems like "we have to look at the positives" and something like "our passing was poor which prevented us from creating more chances" (how about even one chance?) and finally "we've had monumental results this season including back to back clean sheets" Wowzers, back to back clean sheets!!!!
  21. They're just dreadful. Getting rid of Jones, Nelson, Samba and sidelining Givet, Salgado and others cut out the heart of that team and they have a manager who clearly hasn'y got a clue. If it wasn't for their one decent signing (Yakubu) they'd be well below Wolves already. At the end of the game Pederson was laughing with his old mate Friedel, you'd never think the team he plays for is about to be relegated.
  22. Spurs 19 shots (8 on target) Blackburn 0 shots (0 on target) That is abysmal.
  23. They're an absolute shambles. Feel sorry for their fans. Sold off most of their best players, managed by an incapable moron and seems like there's some very fishy stuff going on behind the scenes.
  24. Spurs score. Blackburn have been woeful.
