Pardew hints at change in Transfer thoughts
Christmas Tree replied to peasepud's topic in Newcastle Forum
It sounds like he's just bigging up the strikers as managers do and the fact that getting anyone decent in this window seems very tough. Much happier with a couple of decent loans til the summer. While the squad is not great, its good enough to get us through to April and secure premiership status. -
+ 1 Handed in a transfer request apparently.

If I die as interesting as you my lifes mission will complete. The words of a man universally respected on this message board, knowledgable, witty, interesting, a genuine flag barer for this greatest of clubs despite his Boldon upbringing, who's knowledge of NUFC is unparalelled, a true giant amongst men, a man who does for Newcastle fans what Martin Luther King did for Afro Americans. Christmas Tree, I salute you. By the way seriously you make me out to be a cunt, because of my abuse of your astonishing FMA stance, I'm anything but, however I hope your baby is ok after the bronchitis - see many of them always thought you were a tool, I think you've changed since the bairn was born must be the late neets, but I honestly hope there's no complications and everything will be fine, I'm sure it will be. Very bonnie bairn too, make sure he's still got a toon top on in 16 years, because most of his pals will likely try to lead him astray. This place can be quiet at the best of times so it just happens that I find it depressing that any new posters are jumped on for nowt. Not only does it usually send them running before they've got started, it also stops the lurkers from actually joining and making the place even better. If ever there was a need for the expression "pipe down", it is in this instance.

The A Team Thoroughly enjoyed it 8/10 -
Probably lighting up with a fake gun-lighter as well. The lads sat next to him apparently told the polis who hoyed him out to be careful as he was going to come back with a gun He had a racing horse stolen recently back home and went on the telly kicking off big style about what he might do if it wasnt returned. Given the statement and his reputation for guns, the horse was recovered very quickly.

Rabit Stevie is without doubt the biggest keyboard warrior you will find on Toontastic. He does have a following on here but he does act like it is HIS board and only his opinion counts. Stick with the board Rabit and Im sure you'll come across other posters who are a tad more interesting and like to have good discussions. Welcome btw

You'll need something to cheer you up after watching your shabby side get royally outplayed by our weakened team. Chin up dipshit + 1

Well said. Once again we heard all the big talk pre game and once again the bottled it and got extremely lucky!

Just got in from the pub so probably one and only post tonight. Overall a good derby as derbys go and a joy to watch. If only SHOLA had scored!!!!!!!!! Would have settled for the point befvore hand but as all of you I suspect, gutted with the draw deepe down. Smith and Jonas and Best were shit, and Goslings odd touch looked shit also. At least I managed the Nolan chicken dance in a pub that was 70 / 30 mackem. Lets rejoice in the the 6-2 aggreagate, the 4 points won and nowt else.

If we go 4411 I think we'll come unstuck. For better or worse we need to attack, attack, attack attack attack! Harper Simpson Wialliamson Collochini Enrique Routledge Barton Gosling Jonas Nolan Ameobi Fair enough its a risk with Gosling but its a risk worth taking imo. Lets get the game won and then take him off and shore up the middle. Second choice if Gosling doesnt start would be Nolan into midfield with Barton and Best upfront with Shola. Regardless Im hoping for the usual mackem bottle job.

Oh bless him, it must have been awful for you We've had lots of poorly babies at work the last couple of weeks with brochiolitis and fluey stuff. Had to send a few of them over to the RVI to paediatric intensive care cos they needed help with their breathing. Can't imagine what it must be like and I'm really glad he's getting better Cheers Catmag. Aye it wasnt nice but he is a world better today and is all fired up for the Derby. Strip ironed and waiting for the morn.

Cheers lads. They've let him home because he no longer needs the oxygen but it's going to be an up all night job watching him sleep!
