Dont worry forum buddies 50 odd views in a few minutes and the usual stattos post....BUT BUT BUT dont help you out Shame on them (though they probably just dont know ) Even the odd smuggy boasting about already having a season ticket. Dont worry, at least among its few thousand members theres a kind tory here full of goodwill to all'ish and I know that some of you will have lost your job and dream of being able to take yourself and tiny tim to the match. I will post the answers very soon, but will allow a few more minutes for the stattos to redeem themselves..... (they might have even found some kindness while I have been posting......we'll see now!

If you can provide evidence of that, I'll gladly concede the point....a cursory check of existing (labour) budgets of 2 of the councils being cut shows otherwise.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/spl/hi/uk...ity_funding.xls Labour - South Tyneside Spending Power 10/11 = £188.7m (Population 153,000 = £1233 per person) Tory - Windsor spending power 10/11 £99.3m (population 28,300 = £3508 per person) Windsor have also just announced the largest cut in council tax in history..... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...ouncil-tax.html So you can't even argue that the inhabitants are contributing more to local serrvices in Windsor than they are in South Tyneside. Do you just believe whatever you're told rather than actually check the factoids you come out with? Excellent news tbh and long overdue. Most councils, particularly Labour just keep on taking and taking and taking. They will always find some new service to justify a rise, but just because they can find new ways to spend money, doesnt mean they should. Councils have long since become little empires for local fools to waste money. Nice to see the Tories once again leading the way. So what do you imagine Windsor spends its money on that in some way is better than how ST does it? Do you honestly think they have a greater need for social services or do you think the money goes to councillors cronies on things like consultancy? I think theres probably a very good explaination but its far too close to Christmas to go trawling google for counter happy face statistics. Particularly when it looks like Cable could be about to be sacked or forced to resign, Barton could be sold and more importantly its pub night in an hour. TBC.....

You do get that theres a link between average wealth (or however you want to put it) and council expenditure don't you? "Trimming back" = somone loses out - better to be people in ST or those in Windsor? Better to be those that dont need the money as much.

I just cant buy this story on any level. There is no way Pardew would be stupid enough to sell of our only creative midfield player. A blind man on a galloping horse can easily see the difference in our play when he's in the team. Why would any manager want to get rid of one of the most inform midfielders in England and jepordise our safety. Hope the home crowd leave Joey and our woners in no doubt as to what he means to us. Honestly, this is really too stupid to be true.

Shock horror that it's the labour councils who were already doing very well and now need trimming back.

Reports today saying Best is going to be Pardews first casualty with a move to Boro in the offing.

Devil 6/10 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1314655/ Bit of a scary about events that unfold when a group of people get stuck in a lift. Probably one that would be better seen in the dark of the cinema, but even so a nice easy ride played out (unless you were in the elevator). -

Well had some left over silver side / top side from yesterdays roast and half a pan of gravy. Throw in some home made healthy chips made in our new avtifry All that was then needed to mop up the gravy was some of manc mags roasting tin yorkies....Yum Yum Yum. -
I'd say that goes to Fish. Papa Laz had Papa Laz as his Ava when I signed up. Nopey, fish's current avatar is only several months old. I wasn't counting Christmas Ava's. me neither

The good prospects tend to get signed by the big clubs when they are very young. That's not only the standard in England but also all around Europe. Also, English clubs are not only signing the 16-17 year olds from domestic clubs but also from European clubs. That's why you find all the youth and reserve teams full of foreign players as well. And even then it's in the hope that one out of ten players might be decent. But mostly they are off to a lower league team when they are older with a baheng ... You might be lucky to find the occasional steal, but the talented players from the lower leagues are mostly already overhyped and overpriced. Aye, I know Honestly, sometimes you just need to control those urges.

Then download the American one. Much better tasks and totty. I don't do American anything mate. We all have our price

Im sure they're all trying to do every cheap option whether that be Lower League, Academy of foreign. The one thing for certain is there will be no return to big money signings. What amazes me and I find very encouraging is that somehow we have the capability to go out and get a player like Tiote. He would probably walk into most premiership teams so how we got him and all the others missed him is amazing. I dont know if anyone knows how we did it. I remember a while ago there was all the talk of ????? Carr (scout) joining us. And just on Pardew, there doesnt seem to be players popping up in the press saying bad stuff about him. All I tend to read is good stuff.

Big wheel keeps on turning. The lower leagues used to be the feeder clubs, then clubs had big money to splash around. Now austerity is moving in and the lower leagues will no doubt play a bigger part in producing future prem players.

Happy Birthday..... You surely must hold the record for the longest running avatar as well.

That was brilliant. Woke up to it rather than fell asleep and if that doesn't get your blood pumping on a morning, nothing will. Going to have it as a ringbone. Who is he and does he have an album out?
