Fucking hell Shite article really. The manager was asked to predict forthcoming results. Im sure its normal for managers and boards to talk business and see where they think they are going to be at certain points throughout the season. Meetings before a match. Again Ashleys the owner and probably the most common time for them to meet up would be on a match day. Again cant see any problem in this. Mountain out of mole hill stuff. Crap Journalism.

Dont understand this post. If you wouldnt say no, think he's a class manager and he ticks all the boxes......Then surely Ashley would have made the right decision. (iyo) Not really. Preferable to have the consistency of retaining our longest serving manager since Robson, who's hardly put a foot wrong. As that can't happen now, you have to hope for the best. I dont disagree and would rather have kept hughton, but for those who "wouldnt say no to Jol" etc etc then surely in their eyes Ashley has made the right decision. Also not saying their view is wrong, just you cant have it both ways. It's not rocket science man. Jol is the best option now Hughton has gone. Capice? No, the point i was making is how we may view ashley. Today with Hughton sacked and Pardew on the radar he is a wanker. Tomorrow if he was to unveil Wenger then we would all agree he had made a good decision for the club. What's your point again? As the man on News at Ten has just said...... "This is a decision which could either be seen as confirming Newcastles inflated sense of its standing within the game or simply confirming its ambition".

Bastard! Giving this a try tonight

Tea and shorbread biscuits for dipping, however we could be in for a late sitting so may move onto a nice little port or sherry.

Which if true makes him reckles in the extreme and if false makes him a liar. Not a glowing testimonial either way. He hasnt said that at all If the club have got a replacement sorted then they can come out and deny all rumours apart from the true one. They can even stop short of naming the candidate, they just need to say they actually have the replacement identified. They haven't, which basically amounts to the same thing. Tut Tut for a legal eagle

(iyo) If you'd asked me at 9am this morning, I would've told you I want to keep Hughton. Now that he's gone, I'd surely take Jol over Pardew/Curbs/O'Neill/any of the other perennial candidates/chumps. Sven'd be linked with us too if he hadn't just gone to Leicester. Good Man

Like he did with KK you mean? I was more meaning some kitty for the new man in January as opposed to the nowt Hughton had coming. Or he could say you get x amount salary but you have to work with what you have til the summer. Or we might get Pardew. Is still the likely outcome.

I think Ashley would have no choice but too flash the cash if it was Jol.

The BIG question is...... If Ashley unveils Jol in the morning, do we consider the replacing of Hughton with Jol a very good move by Ashley? Todays Fat Cunt is tomorrows wise chairman.
