Not for me. Carroll is the far superior player. His link up play is much better and you need that when leading the line on your own. Just watched it again on the Beeb highlights and it just looks better and better. The beeb said "one of the Cup games". And I've said it before and I'll say it again.....There's definitely a touch of the Sir Booby Robsons when you see Chris Hughton being interviewed. Definitely a night to savour for most toon fans.

I must admit it pisses me off that everyone, fans and club personnel give up on this competition before its even started. Something needs to be done to either make it extremely worthwhile, make clubs put out their strongest team or scrap it all together. I absolutely hate our games that involve "playing the kids". To me a game is a game and if we dont win I dont like it. As said above its not a lot of extra games to get to the final. We are probably playing a lot less games than last season anyway. I would rather go out to win.
