  1. Yes. Holy Grail and Life of Brian. Meaning of Life is canny though, it suffers by comparison but it's got some cracking moments. Drags a bit though. I agree, but even so when you compare how many funny moments are in this film compared to some of todays multi million dollar offerings, it is quite unbelievable. Just arrived at "the middle of trhe film" and there already being a zillion more funnies than the likes of grown ups etc. Sheer brilliance.
  2. "Learning the piano.......!" "Marching up and down the square not good enough for you?"
  3. Covered by most major broadcasters a few weeks ago.
  4. Does it get any better than this. Every sperm is sacred
  5. So democracy's ok when it suits. Having sat by idly while their puppets wasted billions and fucked the country up, the Labour grass root brigade now see fit to try and hold the elected government of the day to ransom. I hope any self respecting teacher, nurse or fireman will tell this lot to fuck off. Fucking unions.......Run by little hitlers like Brendan Barber whose never done a proper days graft in his life. Harriet Harman, who condemmed widespread action while in power is now backing widespread strikes and unrest. You fucking lost you silly cow, the majority of polls show a country happy with the way the Tories are mending Britain. Then theres Bob Crow. Fuck off Bob. Be interesting to hear what the Millibands have to say because the voters will not forget another winter of dicontent. Labour will be out for years.
  6. I would guess you were referred by your GP and if so, they want shooting for not being involved already. It seems a rediculous time to wait. If your GP did refer you, get in touch today and give them hell. They will know how to get to the right person for you. If no joy within 24 hours, contact the local paper. Good luck
  7. They were my feelings at the time. I thought Bobby was getting too old and losing his grip on the reigns. In hindsight, it's all been downhill from there and you should be careful what you wish for Whatever percentage of toon fans it was who thought Sir Bobby's time was up they didn't want it done in anything like the shitty way Fat Fred did it, nor did any of us want it done at that time, with no idea what to do next and follow him with Souness. The fans as we came to the end of that season thought in the close season, either let Bobby move upstairs to work with another manager, or just have a ambassador role with the club or a scouting one, anything he wanted really, or let him say he'd had enough and leave with dignity, that's what we all wanted. Then we'd have had time to get a proven boss and give them time to bring in their players and have a pre-season with them, and take it from there. Howevere Fat Fred deceided to start the season with Sir Bobby who he said you never sack, then sack him afte a handful of games, leave us fucked and bring in Souness to wreck the club. That is not what any of the fans who'd had wanted to let Bobby go would have done, only one idot thought it was the way to go. Absolutely spot on
  8. Friday 24th September 9pm (More 4) Miliband of Brothers Just seen a 2 minute clip of this on the politic show and it looks as though it could be quite good. The clip made David out to be a spineless wannabe and his brother Ed to be the cunning wannabe. Personally they both come across as Vulcans but hey ho.
  9. Youre right they do. I think it was always going to be difficult for him to have that austerity and assertiveness with some of the senior players as his initial relationship with the players was as a coach. Its like one of your work colleages has been promoted as your boss. Anyway, hopefully this defeat will give him more courage in dropping the senior players and making braver decisions. Did anyone find out why nolan was shouting at the bench today? Thats rght they do......ask Smith how many times he started in front of Guthrie last season after xmas.....no need to drop Nolan as he was scoring half the teams goals it would've been a bit of a bad move really For fucks sakes this is Newcastle United man...this is what they do, the same as most other football clubs...anyone remember Man Utd 0 Burnley 1 from this time last season?... He couldnt just bring 3 new players in today. After the events of last season and so far this season it would've been as disrespectful to the dropped players as a manager could've been. Its got fuck all to do with lacking guts, bottle or anything like that. Its called respect. And in the dressing room its vital he maintains it. If Smith, Williamson and Nolan had been benched today what would their and their teammates reaction have been?...would they have wanted to play for Hughton in the future if they felt that whatever they did they were always going to play second fiddle to the new lads?...look at what some of the Villa squad playes said about O'Neil after he left.....it certainly wasn't a happy ship, as we witnessed last month. Very few managers would've changed the side that drastically today. Away to Everton I wouldnt expect too many either....Tiote for Smith?....away from home we're going to play Nolan in front of Ben Arfa because he's a lot more defensive by nature. Don't know about Campbell, but he hasn't signed him to sit on the bench I wouldnt have thought so Williamson might give way, which is hard on him as he's been one of our best players so far this season, but this weeks result does make these decisions a lot easier. In the meantime stop fuckin whingeing. If anyone thought this season wasn't going to be full of ups and downs then they've not watched NUFC very much over the years.Wigan,Hull and Portsmouth have come out of the 2nd division and beaten us at home within a season or two, it does happen. Its mid Sepetember and we're mid table. Did anyone expect any different? Sums it up for me, just an unluck day at the office. Thought the blackpool fans were a good lot before during and after the match. Very jovial and colourful. Dont know if anyone saw the young stag after the game outside of Yates dressed in an adult romper suit. They had his arse flap down, stretched him over a bin and were taking it in turns to wallop his bear arse with trainers. Some of the fuckers were taking a run up!!!! He wasnt half screamimg. Poor sod.
  10. Happens to me quite often. For quickness I usually just go into settings and turn the wifi off, this then lets the phone just use the 3g networks. I think theres also an option to ignore a particular wifi connection. Mind I think BT openzone wifi is now free for o2 customers so im not sure why you would want to pass it by.
  11. Frozen 9/10 This film is fucking brilliant. Its probably been made on a tiny budget but it really has been very well made, the storyline is different, its full of finger biting tension and plenty of oh my god scenes. Watch the trailer if you will on IMDB, but dont let the trailer put you off, it really is a good film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1323045/
  12. Ben Arfa.... 60 Page thread and hasnt kicked a ball yet. Also a recent mention has to go to Nacho or whatever his name was? The one who came with south american version of Kevin.
  13. If your topping up £10 or £15 a month they send ou a code to win a mystery shitty gift. http://topupsurprises.o2.co.uk/non-flash2.html?gameType=gold
  14. I know when I was sitting in the Directors chair I would always go out of my way to resolve any complaint that got through to me. (Was always terrified of being forced onto watchdog with Anne Robinson)
  15. I have been with them for Donkeys and have mobile, broadband and home phone. There service has always been first class until recently they made a change to my sim (as I was leaving to go abroad) resulting in being unable to phone , text or connect to the internet. 3 weeks later I can now ring out, connect to the internet but am unable to text. I have spoken to zillions of call centre staff and have literally just go to the end of my tether. I expect to be texting once again very soon.
  16. Having had a shit load of problems recently with o2 and no satisfaction via the call centres, i decided to to complain. Trying to get an email address, as with most big companies, to complain too was a nightmare. You seem to go through various FAQ scenarios without ever getting a complaints department. So on Friday I had a quick google and found email addreses for Ronan Dunne (the CEO of O2) and his sidekick, Matthew Key. Off went a letter detailing my tales of woe and suprise suprise, an email back from The CEO's PA saying they are looking into it and will be back to me shortly. Well done Mr Dunne. I fully expect a call at some stage from someone way down the chain, but as the complaint has landed on their lap via the CEO's office I would hope for a swift resolution and some freebies. Its always worth heading to the head honcho if the usual staff fuck you around. Anyone else had any success going to the top?
  17. Either way you'll go home with your fingers smelling of fish so everyones a winner.
  18. Wrap the chicken in silver foil first. It keeps the chicken moist and also stops you having to clean chicken off the grill What a cracking tip. Always pisses me off how many it is and how damn awkward it is to clean.
  19. See, that's the best bit- according to "he who cannot be named", per capita they have had far and away the most money so far. Anyway, let's wait and see. I'll piss myself if it comes off. Cheers
  20. so can someone at least explain WHY it cant be posted?
  21. Expendables --- Absolute Dross. Having seen trailers I was expecting a modern twist on the Dirty Dozen sort of tale with lots of in jokes, great one liners and plenty of modern action. This has none of that. Willis and Arnie both get about 30 seconds of screen time each and that's it. It really is bad. avoid.
  22. Tits oot? Unfortunately not but plenty of that Jolie brooding that quite frankly is all you need from her Tits would have got it a 9 (directors take note)
  23. Salt 8/10 Excellent action film with Jolie on fine form. Interesting storyline and very fast paced with a good few twists and turns. Very enjoyable.
