Sure IMDB gets a bit skewed by the younger geeky audience, but it’s a pretty good rule of thumb imo. I rarely watch anything below a 6 and find it a great chaff sorter.

Also, for those that do like a bit of American style cop shit to watch, Flaspoint (by the Canadians), is canny. A bit like swat but not as poncey. First season is a bit slow, but really picks up over the next few seasons. IMDB 7.6
