Thats probably because United fans* dont see him as a big player in fairness. * there is no such thing, they are 90% glory hunting cocks

misdirected anger.... Owen was far from the main cause of Newcastles trouble.
-
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it... its not like he ever fulfilled his potential at NUFC.

I am not condoning it but it was because it was against Championship opposition, midweek and a game that was televised. Frankly I don't blame the supporters, if the board hadn't decided to make the game category A (£45 - £70 tickets) we would have filled it. They took advantage of us. It happened the season before against Arsenal but because they are our rivals we coughed up... and then beat them 5 - 1. And I dont have anything to do with DannyB, he annoyed the shit out of me too.

Yeah, like that comment wont backfire come the start of the season. I wasnt alive when Spurs last got relegated so I cant compare.

The Annual How's Your Other Team Doing Thread

What about teams from Kingston? moving back to Plough lane so ... stfu Where did you get that from? Drove past it about a month ago, big fat block of flats there now... Kingsmeadow is fine, I went to see AFC vs Dorchester. Danny Kedwell scored a cracker. Not for this season apparently. And Danny Kedwell is a machine. Whats not for this season? Kings Meadow? Merton council will never allow AFC to demolish the housing to rebuild Plough Lane. Someone mentioned the dog track, thats more believable. -

Glass houses and all that... Rather than wanking yourselves to death that your the new big fish in a small pond and that "Leeds arn't our equals" ala stevie, I'd be more concerned that you wont get a full house at the stadium because of the coverage.

I think you lot need a fresh start... fresh manager... fresh owner -
Hmm I disagree with Sunderland 18th and Newcastle top. Palace I could see coming up this season

You are like a broken record, attendances are not the be all and end all. You didn't manage to fill it last season and its going to be really really interesting to see if your still getting 49,000 turn up to watch Cardiff on a tuesday night. Newcastle is not a far bigger club than Leeds, they are more or less equal. They have won I think 9 trophies to your 12. Your stadium capacity is the only real thing you have to gloat about and you do, every frikkin post you can. See is you can think of something else apart from attendance Shame it's Sat, 3pm. I didn't mean it literally, I mean there will be crappy games on crappy days that the fans wont turn out for. Whether you get your stadium filled on saturday 3pms week in week out remains to be seen.

I'd let the goons beat us 9 - 1 at the lane if we could win the title!

I was going through the football league records and came across this: The record away win in English top division: Newcastle United 1-9 Sunderland (First Division, 5 December 1908) ouch
