  1. Amazing, I could spend hours playing with that. I had the scary thought though that there might come a day when it's live. Imagine the snooping potential
  2. It's not him that's injury-prone - it's us
  3. I heard a while back that the father of one of the kids at the time (Kris Gate I think it was) was going mental about perceived bullying of his lad by Beardsley. Could have been bollocks obviously but the source was canny.
  4. Well that's me telt 'You're that big-headed I bet you've got loads of mirrors and that', fucking hell Do you find your punters tend to ask for the radio on?
  5. Regardless of which of the two is/is not a little cunt, we need them both fit for the rest of the season. They might well both be gone come summer, but at least we'll still have Shola
  6. Aye I bet half of them or more couldn't give a fuck when all is said and done.
  7. He seems to have turned into one of our most important players not because he's got any better but because we are getting progressively worse. Certainly in terms of attributes that can change games, like pace and the ability to do something out of the ordinary. We look so fucking pedestrian these days it's untrue.
  8. Aye I was impressed by his composure as well
  9. That was a bit tasty We could get twenty free kicks a game from there and we'd still not score.
  10. I think he may mean yours truly. He doesn't appear to like me Tree's a mental midget so when ideas sail serenely over his head he complains of people being condescending towards him, the poor thing. Besides, I could never be accused of any kind of snobbery - it's something I've always looked down upon
  11. Yet still unable to fathom out a strong opinion, one way or the other, on NUSC. Why would I give an opinion on a subject I have no strong views on you clem? I could suggest they ignore the state of the club and focus on organising coffee mornings and shit but I personally feel that wouldn't be very helpful.
  12. Aye I think it's clear appointing an unqualified mouthy dwarf with small-man syndrome was always a risky proposition
  13. They're well in the shite too. If we manage to scrape a win against Arsenal (Let me dream ) we'd go above them because their goal difference still isn't much cop IIRC. The mackems are currently torn between planning their street parties in anticipation of us being relegated, and nervously looking at their own current shit form and iffy-looking run of fixtures. It would be lovely if they got sucked in mind, but I think they'll be alright unfortunately.
  14. There's a 'will Newcastle go down?' poll on F365 which is currently at 62% yes. Allowing for the bitter mackem factor I'd say that makes it about 50/50. Probably about right
  15. I just think you're full of shit and quite enjoy pointing it out from time to time
  16. not neccesarily, we know english managers wouldn't accept the system but continental managers are used to working under "directors" who find players etc That's the theory. I don't see much evidence of the DoF system working in English football myself. Spuds elected to employ an established continental manager to fit their system and look what happened there. Ironically, if they'd abandoned their DoF sooner, rather than the manager who'd just got them two fifth places the chances are they'd be in a far healthier position than they currently are. Mourinho left ultimately because of interference; Benitez wants assurances of more control; Wenger has stated he wouldn't accept players imposed on him. Ashley, I suspect, believes in his system for financial rather than football reasons. There's nothing to suggest his model will work here other than a load of half-arsed promises about kids coming through and where we'll be in five years.
  17. Could be that too many on here on hyper sensitive to any criticism of NUSC I wonder why That might have sounded good in your head, but since I've never once discussed the ins-and-outs of NUSC (largely because I have no strong opinion on the subject) any insinuation that I have a pro-NUSC agenda doesn't make a lot of sense. Like most of your posts really You, on the other hand, are all over anything relating to them. I've not read it but I imagine the like-minded folk at Window-Lickers Offline are much the same.
  18. Any manager worth having wouldn't stand for being told what's what by Dennis fucking Wise. So whoever it is, be it Kinnear, Poyet some Spanish cunt or whatever, they'll be shit.
  19. A number of posters on Newcastle boards recently seem to be inordinately hostile towards NUSC. I wonder why
  20. Last time they let us drift under Hughton we lost four straight games (three at home). What reasons could they have for thinking it would be much different this time round? Twice looks like carelessness, as they say. Mind you their set-up and general incompetence means they'll not be able to attract anyone decent even if they now want to. I doubt Venables would touch it at this stage myself.
  21. This is about where I am now - struggling to see where we'll get the points we need from. We're likely to lose aginst Arsenal, Chelsea, Dippers and Villa. Stoke's home form is much better than our away form, as is the spuds - they were getting turned over by anyone early in the season but that's not happening now. We have three winnable home games, Portsmouth, Smogs and Fulham, but you'd have to stick the old rose-tinteds on to see us winning all three. And if we don't win at least two of those I think it's goodnight Vienna. 8/9 points, if we're really lucky, might keep us up. I'm not even confident we'll get them
  22. It's not a problem surely: Llambias has a queue of 'top, top managers' banging on his door
  23. It's well-known that great players almost invariably turn into shit pundits
  24. What a tool Brown is: I've just got marginally more hopeful about this one. The players are bound to see these quotes, and I can see them backfiring on the horrible sand-dancing orange mackem cunt
  25. Shit game most likely, impossible to predict with any confidence - heads or tails. Let's all give thanks to uncle Mike.
