Going to get it for Xmas, I think. The sports games are supposed to be brilliant, and when you're living in student accommodation it will be a reet laugh to get everyone up and playing the games. Also going to try and convince myself that the exercise games are a valid form of exercise

Gunna do a nice simple Aubergine Bake with Pesto/Courgettes/Onions and topped with Cheddar and Mozzarella. Then will make some rice to serve it with. Came in well under £5

Yeah, it has more became a case of clutching at straws to see if there is any legal way of ending the contract, i.e it was mis-sold to me.
-
Was all done over the phone. Isn't there something illegal about misinforming me of the contract I'm signing up for? And I have a police reference number that I got from reporting my phone as lost/stolen, so can near enough prove that I don't have the phone any more. EDIT: The woman did say that what would possibly happen is they would lower it to 18 months and include a 'gesture of good will', but got knows what that could be...

Recently started off a new Phone contract with Vodafone. Got my new phone but unfortunately lost it a couple of months later. Now I have some shit phone and vodafone aren't going to replace my old one at all. Gave them a call to ask about cancelling the contract, but was told about having to pay the remaining months + line rental, which came to around 700 quid. But then she mentioned it was a 24 month contract, which I queried because I only ever remember signing up to an 18 month one. She told me that I had to send an e-mail with my details, which I've done, and they should be looking into it now. If it turns out that I've been put onto a 24 month contract without being informed then what are my rights? Do I have the right to cancel the contract if it turns out its been mis-sold to me?

Give Carroll 200K a week and he'd be in prison within a month.

The tuition fees aren't even seen by the student, they go straight from Student Finance to the University. The only time they will really feel the effect of it and 'see' the money is when it comes to paying it back. It is the rest of the loan that the student gets that is there for covering accomodation costs and general living. And yes, 'general living' when you're student is doing all that you mention above

Changed their tune because Nick Clegg has massively changed his tune and gone back on what he said he would do in the run up to the election. Catch up, will you?

Can you really blame people for getting carried away after a 5-1 loss vs. the Mackems and then beating Arsenal at the Emirates? I still don't think anyone thought we would go on to conquer the world, but on the back of the last two results we could ahve at least expected a result against Blackburn at home. Still, these things happen, and lets just hope we can go on from here and we don't lose the momentum we had.

Game on!

The Lib Dems have completely sold out on this, and that is where a lot of the anger has come from. But it is ridiculous that they plan to raise the fees even further. Education should be a right, not a priviledge, and the only people I can think of who wouldn't be too fussed about the cuts are the rich and super rich. I.e people like Cameron and Osborne...

Oh give over. Yes, I'm not denying that around 1,000 people started causing some trouble that wasn't needed, but that is 1,000 out of a total of around 50K who were out protesting. Unfortunately it's that 0.5% that will be remembered. It really, really is. But yeah, unfortunately that is where most of the stories will come from, and the 50K who protested peacfully will barely get a sNyff in the headlines.

Of course they aren't doing the cause any favours, but it appears to be the case (at least as the BBC suggests) that people started turning up just to cause trouble and so it understandbly got a little out of hand. I'm gutted that I missed out on going now, though. The busses that were put on my Uni were all full up and we didn't bother with getting the bus there ourselves. Would have loved to take my camera!

Aye, was done a couple of weeks back though. Leaning towards the fishcakes, but might take a look around the reduced sections in Sainsburys for some other insipiration..

Was looking at a roasted vegetable kebab recipe w/ pesto and served on warm pitta breads that might work, but looking at it now I do like the sound of the fishcakes. Just not sure if they would be substantial enough? Guessing I would just do mash potatoe, mix in the tuna from a can and (cooked?) spring onions then lightly fry them on either side? Would they need to be rolled in flour at all? Any other suggestions for what I could serve them with that isn't salad? EDIT: Could just do a bit of salad (ie lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes) then a generous helping of sweetcorn and broccoli?

Here's one for you: On Sunday I am cooking for myself and three friends. Got a £5 budget to feed everyone, and the meal has to be vegetarian, or at least pescatarian. Sort of want to avoid anything like a pasta bake, and curry was done last week. Any ideas?

Needed a new one, and that was the first image I had saved on my computer

Been a bit quiet at my end Just a quick shot I took last night. Haven't really had the chance to take my camera into Oxford yet, but will certainly look to do it when all the Xmas lights are up!
